Dr. Callaway is awesome!!
On the Friday before Spring Break, I was in so much pain with a pinched nerve and was scheduled for April 12th for an epidural. Ready to head to ER, I called and asked if there was any Dr that could do an emergency epidural and even though Dr. Callaway had a full schedule, he told the nurse to tell me to come on in!! I am so thankful that he took the time to work me in and I had an amazing pain free weekend!! Thank you so much for squeezing me in Dr. Callaway!!!

Dr Callaway is absolutely a breath of fresh aircra
Dr Callaway had reviewed my chart so he knew about me and my pain problems which made me feel that he cared. He was awesome in deciding what he could do to help my pain and make me feel better. He is awesome.He talked with me to get my input on what he wanted to do in such a way that I could understand. No other Doctor has ever cared enough so as a black woman this meant a lot to me.

Red flags
I am filing a complaint against this so called provider. Not safe at all. Thank you Dr for making me worse and gaslighting me. It's providers like you that give good ones a bad name and traumatize patients

Does not know what he's doing
He proposed a plan for an epidural blood patch. I agreed to his plan. After an abysmal scheduling process of nobody knowing what they were doing, I finally had a date. When we got into the OR, it became apparent that poor office management was the least of my worries. As Dr. C rammed the needle home without checking first even if I was numbed enough, it became apparent that he did not know what he was doing. I instantly felt my brain pressure decreasing, causing nerve pain. I told him this. "You don't feel pain," he told. Problem solved! Then I felt palpitations. The radiology nurse was elusive about actual number so I pushed for numbers. Nearly 150/90 blood pressure and I was in tachycardia at 120. Well, that's not good--and that's also a clear sign of a leak for me. Dr. C apparently did not know you communicate with patients to ask if they feel pressure. "Yes," he said. I felt no pressure which is understandable as he only put in 3 CCs of blood.
