She was cold and forced information upon me regarding reproduction when I expressed I was not interested. She was persistent with it, like a used car salesman, and did not take my feelings into account.

I called in October for a new patient visit. December 27 was the first opening. On November 15, I was told that she had "an emergency" and had to reschedule me. An emergency, a month in advance, right after Christmas. Huh. Nevertheless I let them bump me to January 17. On November 28 I was told that there had been a cancellation the next day. I took it! I then got message that my Dr had an "emergency" AGAIN! The emergency? She doesn't care about patients. I'm a CMA and know Drs that do this.

I have found her very easy to talk to. She explained scientific data to me on a level that was meaningful to me. She was personable and I would recommend her to any female looking for good, science backed advice for navigating thru menopause.

Disappointed in my care during endometrial biopsy in which perforation of my uterus occurred. I was not given instructions regarding what to look for if complications arise when home from this occurrence. I had to go on Web MD for these instructions. No one from the office has called to check on me. She never apologized. Left me in the care of the RN until bleeding abated and post ultrasound showed clotting.

Dr Beurskens has been my gynecologist for many years. She has treated my mother and even delivered my youngest daughter. I have found her to be both caring and very professional. Dr. Beurskens is extremely knowledgeable and I feel quite comfortable in entrusting my health care to her.

Dr. Beurskens did not make me feel welcome or heard. She did not ask me any questions relating my complaints and pain and did not think anything should be done even though it was clear my condition was causing major discomfort. I think the best component of a doctor is to first listen, then apply their knowledge to your feelings. She did not want to listen and instead, just told me that it is either 'normal or abnormal.' Needless to say, I will not go back and I am seeking a second opinion.

I had a 3:10 appointment, arrived at 2:40, and still wasn't seen by 4:15. Upon that time I left to be somewhere by 4:30. I was offered a new appointment over a month later (the soonest available). Are you kidding?? I will never return or recommend this doctor.
