Petite and Highly Recommend!
Without hesitation, I offer a glowing recommendation for Dr. Stanwix. I see a couple of complaints among the reviews and noticed the women posting negative reviews state they are petite. I am also petite and want to share my experience. I am 47. At 20, I had my first child. A second child, another cesarean, and 27 years later, I wanted a tummy-tuck. After shopping around and hearing a girlfriend’s success story working with Stanwix, I scheduled with him. Consult to post-op, I am thrilled with my experience and the results! It is in his patients’ and his best interest to do his best work and he delivers just that. The entire team is awesome. Most importantly, Dr. Stanwix has the licensure, experience (board certified surgeon—17 plus years), and bedside manner I require. He is meticulous. He also listens; he is humble. He worked with me to accomplish the belly button and overall shape I wanted. I am PICKY; I can be a real pain, y’all. He is truly an artist.

Best Decision I've ever Made
Dr. Stanwix and his staff are so welcoming and friendly. He answered all of my questions and gave me different options. I was interested in implants, but then half way through my appointment I was starting to stray away from the idea. He understood and didn't try to push me into getting the implants. Instead he suggested a fat transfer, which is ultimately what I decided on. I'm so glad I did.

Wish I never would have let him touch me.
I had implants removed, with fat transfer to breast & a lift that he said I would benefit from. Came out of surgery & my breast didnt seem right. 1 1/2 yrs later they are definitely not the same size. Its impossible for me to find a bra that fits right because of it & I did not need a lift because I am barely an A cup. He told me i would be a full b if not a c cup. My scars have been extremely painful & still are. When I complained about the pain from the scars at each checkup, he just told me to get my family doctor to write me a RX for a popular fibromyalgia drug. I have had nothing but problems since he operated on me. I know I am not the only one. He also took before & after pix & never uploaded them to the portal for me to see. I have had 2 mammogram this year because the 1st one came back questionable. Turned out I have a lot of fat necrosis in my breast. This has been a very expensive nightmare. I can't sleep, it hurts to have any pressure on my scars or breasts. Depressed.

HIGHLY recommend Dr. Stanwix!
As I began researching surgeons to repair my diastasis recti post-childbirth, I quickly placed Dr. Stanwix at the top of my list, even though that would require traveling across the country. His impressive education and experience are surpassed only by his kind and compassionate care. He and his staff took all the time I needed to discuss my surgical options and address all my questions and concerns. I knew my health and my body were in the best hands possible. After my surgery my recovery went amazingly well. I was up and walking the same day, and had virtually no pain. I believe Dr. Stanwix's team and his anesthesiologist, a remarkable doctor in her own right, are to thank for that. My surgery was a fantastic success. I love my body. I love my shape. I love that I have been able to return to walking, running, exercising and that I can now exceed my prior fitness and strength goals. Thank you, Dr. Stanwix!

Stellar experience with Dr. Stanwix. His surgical skills and artistry brought me back to him a second time. He has a great bedside manner, if that's important to you, but for me, I wanted a surgeon I could really trust. I'm thrilled to have found him!

Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Stanwix has been awful. He overpromised, told me mistakes don't happen in his hands, and I trusted him when he assured me he was the best in his field. He caused a lot of damage but he remains silent and will not take responsibility for his actions. It is 16 months later and I'm left with a disfigured body, pain, emotional stress and financial issues and will need further surgery to help with pain and deformities, although I'm beyond repair sadly enough and will have to live with this for the rest of my life. His actions have been cruel, and I don't wish this on anyone. I don't believe all the raving reviews on all the different sites out there are from actual patients, please be aware. There are many good caring skilled doctors, Dr. Stanwix is not one of them. I wish someone had warned me, so I hope this review can be a blessing for you. I'm a shy trusting person, I regret my blind trust in this doctor daily

Hands down the best physician experience that I have ever had. Not only does Dr. Stanwix come with the highest degree of credentials and training, he also has a bedside manner that is unmatched. He is empathetic, kind, highly skilled, and he truly cares about the work that he is doing and the patients that he cares for. You will certainly feel like his only patient, despite him being highly sought after by many. My results have blown me away. He created an aesthetic that I did not think was possible with my very difficult case. Undoubtedly, he is an artist and was able to conceptualize and surgically accomplish the perfect design for me. His unique philosophy and approach to practicing medicine provides an environment of trust and puts you at ease. It is obvious that he hand picked each one of his staff, because they all perfectly reflect his style. They have all gone out of their way to make this the best experience for me showing me kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism.

I had abdominal liposuction.,with Dr. Stanwix.The end result is I have a large supper hard pouch.I went to Mayo Clinic for a second opinion.The first thing they did was a CAT scan to evaluate the pouch...something Dr.Stanwix did not do. After evaluating the scan they recommended no more surgery,it would be more harmful.I emailed the scan and notes to Dr. Stanwix; he did not respond ,this speaks to his character.Don’t get fooled by his degrees and demeanor as I did.

Dr.Stanwix name was new to me when I found him on RealSelf 4 months ago. I made an appointment, fully expecting it to be for informational purposes only-I've already seen 2 Plastic Surgeons in VA & had decided my only hope was to go to a doctor in OH. My implants were 30 yrs old & encapsulated. Dr.Stanwix explained the en bloc surgery in detail, was warm and caring & I knew he was the "partner" I was looking for in this life transforming event. I'm thrilled with my results & TRUST him!!!

I cannot express how gratefully I am that my husband found Dr. Stanwix! The moment he walks through the door and begins talking, you feel at complete ease. I cannot express how down to earth he is, yet his level of professionalism, is a rare find now days.
