AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS
My husband went to go see this doctor for his TOS, long story short my husband has been in excruciatin pain and was referred to Dr. Sideman for his TOS (thoracic outlet syndrome) my husband went on short term disability as this was his only option due to his pain and unable to complete work tasks because of the pain and debilitation. He had previous doctors fill out his disability forms with no issues, however UT HEALTH and Dr. Sideman will NOT fill out his paperwork because they are saying there is not enough evidence to support his issues. BUT they will refer him to get a procedure done that can confirm that he will either need surgery for his procedure or not. ALSO will see him back for a follow up after the procedure and to potentially discuss getting SURGERY. So this doctor and his team are OKAY with discussing surgery and referring him out for a PROCEDURE. BUT THERE IS NOT EVIDENCE OF AN ISSUE? Or is there only EVIDENCE when it comes to paying for ANY treatment. DO NOT COME HERE.

This was my 1st visit with Dr. Sideman, due to Dr. Davies leaving the center. Dr. Sideman listened, advised, answered my questions, and suggested the next step to assess my treatment. I was very pleased with this doctor and will continue to see him.
