I read reviews of Dr Sherman and was hopeful that he would be a great doctor. When I met with him, I was reassured because he has fantastic bedside manner and seems very empathetic. I believed that this would translate into great care.I was given a pre-surgery call about medications. When I asked the person to slow down because I was taking notes the person on the other line became frustrated and told me to stop taking notes because all of this would be sent to me through an email. I never received an email.The day of surgery was on a Friday at a surgical clinic that looks like a strip mall, which ushers people in like they are numbers, quickly in, quickly out. I was told very sternly that I would not be given Dr Sherman’s telephone number and he would not be available for any calls, under any circumstances, even an emergency.As soon as I woke up, I was being ushered out. No visit from Dr Sherman after surgery to tell me how it went. Not even from a nurse. The person who cleans t

Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Sherman is a very knowledgeable and very caring physician. He took over my case as I was feeling hopeless and was in a lot of pain. His compassion was very much appreciated. He explained everything in a manner that was understandable to me and my husband. Our appointments were never rushed. He always spent enough time with me. I would not hesitate to have him do any surgery on me.

Dr. Sherman is very skilled. He was able to complete my right hemicolectomy surgery laparoscopically despite my obesity. He even repaired my two hernias at the same time. He treats his patients with respect and sincerity, and takes the time to answer all questions. He completely removed my tumor with clean margins and likely saved my life. It has given me the chance at having more time with my loved ones. Thank you Dr. Sherman!

Dr. Sherman is an outstanding doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. We found out that he is also highly regarded by other doctors and staff. His caring manner and attitude towards his patients and their family is very much appreciated.
