Robotic Evil Demon Doctor- AVOID AT ALL COST
Severe osteoarthritis and badly torn meniscus. Sent back to work with restrictions for lifting and need of pushcart. I have not had any procedures to elevate the pain or injury. I explained to Dr. Santa Barbara that I wanted to return to work, but I'm still in pain. He orders an assessment and the assessment states to walk and climb stairs on OCCASION. This piece of work has me returning to work with 8 hours of walking and climbing stairs without restrictions. Hence the title evil demon doctor. I sort of felt better after reading his reviews because I'm not the only person he messed over- sad but true.

Dismissed and lost trust
Dr. Santa Barbara dismissed my journey to my back pain as soon as he saw a previous back injury on my record. Effectively silencing me and going based of that. He also told me to 'ignore that pain' when doing his assessment. I shut down after being dismissed twice and just kept saying 'no' to his questions of pain as I lost trust that he wanted to help me heal and believed if I said I felt pain I would be dismissed again. He was very cold and felt very apathetic. Like I was just some thing to check off his todo list for the day.

Very condescending, couldn't get a word in or describe my issues without being interrupted. Bed side manners are the worse I ever experienced BUT I can tell he is a very good doctor but his patience and listening skills are poor at best.

Answered all my questions and concerns with knowledge. Often asked me if I more questions. During the procedure, he explained the next step before he performed it. The medical assistant who took care of me went above and beyond to help me with my vasovagal syomptoms post procedure. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name.

He's very cold. Didn't feel comfortable with him. It was like a technician checking on a robot's wiring. Dismissed a lot of the information I gave him.
