Tongue tie runs in my family! My granddaughter had lip and tongue tie causing her to swallow excessive air and not sleep due to gas pains. We held her upright for 9 months she couldn’t lay down. Argued with him 9 months to get prescription referral to get her tongue clipped . He kept saying it was gerd and he was not a believer in the necessity of getting it clipped. My final argument was to talk with a lisp and say that when she is older she will hate school caused all the kids will poke fun at her for talking with a lisp. He threw the prescription at me in an irritated way. Felt like he was way up there looking down on us. 9 months of lost sleep and a miserable gd who was in lots of excessive gas pain because he was so sure it was gerd. Pediatric dentist said she had severe lip tie and tongue tie which he fixed. Mysteriously no more Gerd! I guess he is not God after all!

Called to get appointment for my son who I took to er couple days ago and er did covid-19 test along with other tests and I was told to do follow up with his pediatrician in couple days, I called today to set up appointment with Dr and receptionist told me I couldn't bring him in cause he is sick!!! I thought and so did ER that that's what drs are for!! Very disturbing
