Dr. Matthew Ough, MD

My husband was not a patient until he arrived quite literally dying at the doorsteps of Bellin hospital after countless other doctors and P.A.'s failed to discover the cause of my husband rapid decline. Dr. Ough found the issue quickly and did an emergency surgery that saved my husband. I do not even want to think of what the outcome would have been if this doctor hadn't been as skilled as he is. 5 stars is not enough.... After my husband's surgery, Dr. Ough's entire staff has been compassionate, accommodating and guiding us after this traumatic time. God bless these people and what they do.

I have been to Dr Ough multiple times for a recurring issue. I am treated with respect every time. The office staff is very friendly and professional. They are very responsive to urgent needs and are quick to get answers when needed. Dr Ough’s bedside manner is excellent and he is able to convey a clear plan for care that I can trust. He is able to answer questions in a way where I can understand the situation and why the plan is being put in place. I will continue to trust Dr Ough as part of my care team.

Great. Saw me quickly and treated me with respect. Listened to my concerns. We created a treatment plan that was comprehensive and executing that plan to the letter. I would highly recommend. That one star review below is bogus at best. Some super overweight person had complications with their surgery and went to sue Dr. Ough and lost in court because they had no case.

So Dr (which I use loosely) Matthew Ough, nearly cost my husband his life. My husband suffered excruciating amounts of pain for over 5 years because he cut my husband's colon and did not repair it. Over 2 liters of still in his abdomen caused a very serious infection. We attempted to recoup some costs we have spent for years of medical treatment. He of course won because he has all the money in the world to hire fancy lawyers. Now I find out he is suing us for $10,000?????? What a quality "Dr"
