I went to Dr. Mitschele for three years and he NEVER once touched me. The very first visit I had with him, his nurse assistant said "you keep your clothes on for Dr. Mitschele". I was surprised and kinda relieved thinking he won't locate an indication of any problem. Phew. After three years of this and his obsession with taking notes on his computer while you talk and providing no actual professional interest in how you feel, I switched. And my new doctor determined that my left eardrum was nearly closed requiring surgery and that I had a degenerative disc that was causing me to miss step and suffer sharp pains without notice. I think the straw that finally broke the camels back with Dr. Mitschele was when his mobile rang during my annual and he looked at the screen and then put it back in his pocket saying he would only answer if it was his wife.

Dr Mitschele is young, but appears to be very sharp when it comes to evaluations and treatments. Bedside manner is excellent - he is attentive, listens, and asks all the right questions. His front office could use some more professionalism - I feel like I am interrupting their personal conversations when I check in or out.

This doctor may be good if you get a cold now and then but don't count on him for anything substantial; he just passes the buck. I've been without medications I need for months after changing insurance and he wouldn't write me a single prescription despite his office assuring me that this would be the case. Now I'm stuck waiting 3 more months for appointments with specialists because Dr. Mitschele doesn't step up to the plate. Don't expect this one to have your back in any meaningful way.

i have been waiting since nov.2015 for his referrals to call me an none has. call today 2016 to ask, they where sending them to the front desk. Very poor on sending referrals.
