I had questions about my health which another doctor wasn't answering after almost two years of seeing that doctor. I wasn't seeing improvements in my overall health. That doctor referred me to a specialist in October of 2024, & two months later in December the specialist & I saw improvements in my health. We were both very happy about this. About a week later, Dr. McKenna did not make any note of this to me until I brought it up to him for confirmation, but he did chastise me for switching doctors. Yes, if switching doctors after almost two years gets me results, then I will gladly switch doctors. Dr. McKenna didn't behave in a way I would expect or have seen from other doctors. Even when I saw Dr. McKenna previously, he had a completely different way of conducting himself. I do not know if he was having a bad day or if this was a simple conflict between doctor & patient, but if a patient feels uncomfortable around any doctor it is alright to switch doctors.

Dr McKenna has been my grandson's Dr since birth. He is great, really cares and takes the time to personally know him, and me. Is genuine in his care and even how I am. He takes the time to listen and answer all questions we have. Dr McKenna is my Buddy's Buddy! He loves going to see Dr McKenna. I am so glad to have found him. The staff also is amazing with my guy!

He listens and really cares. Everyone here is so nice. Love this place.

Dr. McKenna very ably addressed my issues, and thoroughly answered my questions. He took the time to do so, which is not always the case with some doctors. Feel that with his guidance I will be able to be on a better path to a healthy lifestyle.

This was a first visit, annual physical. I found the staff to be warm and welcoming as well a fully professional. I very much appreciate that my appointment started on time but not rushed to completeion. The Dr was patient and thorough.

As someone that works in the medical field it was a day that I heard angels sing after seeing Dr. McKenna. He is down to earth, intelligent and quick on his feet. He explains things to you and listens to your perspectives and thoughts as to why you may or may not want a test or procedure. He customizes your visit to you and your concerns, thoughts and questions. It is nice to encounter a physician that treats you like a person and not just a billable visit!!

Dr McKenna took me on as a new patient from out of state, went through my history carefully and discussed everything in a measured and reasonable way. He had a friendly demeanor, didn’t miss anything, he didn’t suggest radical changes, and he proposed a sensible path forward. His exam was thorough. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. McKenna has been great as a primary care doctor. We think of him as the quarterback for our heath and medical needs. Easy to talk to and practical in his approach. The nurses and staff are all pleasant and well educated. The rooms are clean and the wait time is not long. He works with you to find a successful way toward better health. I highly recommend him!
