I saw Dr. Lux on October 2021 for blood in my urine. My referring primary care doctor ran some tests including a PSA. When I saw Dr. Lux my record included the just reported PSA — it was 47.3. Dr. Lux never told me my PSA score. Instead, he scheduled me for a TURP operation which he performed. The operation made my life worse. More than 200 days after the 47.3 PSA, I learned from the Kaiser app that my PSA had reached 106. I immediately requested a biopsy. Today I have stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. I believe Dr. Lux could have prevented this. I have left Kaiser and now struggle with pain and death on the horizon. My care was so rushed by Dr. Lux that I fear he never saw the 47.3 PSA in my record when we first met. Dr. James Lindsey (Duncan).

Extremely disappointed. Major effort to even get an appointment with him, he spent very little time with me. Most of it was him talking…he seems to love hearing the sound of his own voice. Did not seem to care about my concerns as a patient or getting a correct diagnosis.

Does not listen. Way too clinical. If you want someone who listens to you and has compassion look elsewhere

I found out 6 years ago from a routine cat scan that I gad a large tumor in one of my kidneys. I was referred to urology for more testing. I was given an appointment with Dr. Lux and he told me that an ultrasound needed to be done to fine out if the mass was solid and if it was cancer. It was cancer and right in the middle of my kidney, so I had to have the whole kidney removed. I was scheduled for surgery in a couple weeks and everything went great! Dr. Lux is an Amazing Surgeon.
