Really full of himself
My twins were in the NICU at Community North a year ago. We had so many good nurses in our time in the NICU. For awhile Dr. Lewis was OK. Not great or bad, just cold and detached. Fly in and out of the room, not communicate more than a few statements. Then one time, he sort of undermined the nurse that was caring for our baby, in front of us. It was awkward to say the least! THEN he did it another time with the nurse practitioner. On another occasion, he just came right in the room while I was pumping. I said 'i'm pumping right now, can you come back later' and he said 'I don't mind' Well, I do! We were there for several weeks, I have many other examples. Suffice to say that he has an inflated sense of his importance, and he's generally uncaring of his patients and their families. Do not recommend (If you can have the choice)

My son was in the NICU for 2 weeks at Community North because he was born early. Dr. Lewis was very high and mighty in his attitude and he was constantly making jokes and flirting with the nurses. The worst was one time my son was having a rough night, I was in his room and heard the nurses and Dr. Lewis laughing like crazy in the hall. My baby was sick!! I gave 2 stars because I like community NICU rooms.

Dr. Lewis took care of my son while he was in the NICU. He explained everything in a way that my husband and I could understand. He was reassuring with us and always answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. We never felt rushed, when talking to him. I highly recommend him.
