Meh, cold
I have been seeing him for five years or so and I doubt he remembers my name. He seems robotic and disinterested. He gives referrals for concerns and suggests shots. He doesn’t call if bloodwork is out of normal range, or ever unilaterally tell you get a test or follow up or advise. He’ll answer questions but won’t ask any. He’s close by so that’s v convenient for me but I wish my primary care was with someone who could at least pretend to care.

Having been misinformed that my former PCP does not take my new Medicare insurance, I chose to visit Dr. Lane. It was the most uneventful doctor's visit I've had!!! I told him my issues and he said he'll give me referrals. At the end, he was going to leave if I didn't ask him whether he was going to listen to my chest?

First visit today for my elderly mom. Chose Dr. Lane since he had many good reviews . When he first walked into the room his greeting was lack luster for a first time patient . He did not inquire any specifics as to her medical history and basically just made suggestions regarding vaccinations. We did discuss a change in medication which he was receptive to . Physical exam was fairly basic particularly for a first visit and he did not order base line blood work . As a registered nurse my first impressions of Dr. Lane did not merit a 5 star rating He was professional and has good credentials . Staff was friendly and no wait time for our appointment. Will see how next appointment turns out

I'm 43 & Dr. Lane has been my primary care phys for the past 3 yrs. I find him very responsive & reassuring. He replaced my previous primary care phys @ Bklyn Mt Sinai. He was good with recalling hydrocephalus symptoms I was experiencing as I was in need of a shunt revision. For every type of doc recommended for me he was quick to write the referrals as well as making recommendations narrowing down my symptoms to needing brain surgery. I also referred Dr. Lane as a primary for my 20 yr old son.
