Absolutely FABULOUS! Had a Thymoma mediastinal mass 6.5 x 4.5 x 3.8 c.m. He informed me of all to be expected during robotic surgical procedure. I went in and was treated very warmly by staff and 2 hours later was woke up by recovery nurse. Was placed in hospital room and treated with all meds on my file as appropriate. Met Dr Johnston in room and he informed me of exactly how the procedure went. He was very compassionate and patient for all my questions. Then again 10 days post op to go over pathology report and remove sutures. Very happy with Dr Johnston. Very honored to have the best of the best perform the robotic surgical procedure and am very pleased with the rapid recovery i am experiencing! Thank-you Dr Johmston!!

Great consultation visit for surgery
Dr. Johnston took the time to address all areas of concern regarding the potential for surgery as well as to what to expect while recovering while continuing to battle cancer. Great delivery and explained everything in a clear and picture perfect way. Great bedside manner and instilled a confidence in me as the patient so that I could feel confident about my decision for which option I chose for treatment. As a healthcare provider myself, I was very pleased with my experience…..and he had no idea that I was one until I told him towards the end which makes it even better for me to see and witness a doctor firsthand treating his patients how I would treat mine.
