Dr. Matthew Haney, DO

The first time I met him I was really excited because I had been looking for a new doctor and he seemed to know his stuff and we got along well. Once I switched to him his demeanor changed. He was in a bad mood and I just thought he may be having a bad day. The next time I saw him with what turned out to be a medical emergency, he and his staff were incredibly rude to me and my grandma. His nurse made a comment outside the door that we clearly heard. Dr. Haney completely dismissed me and my concerns. In fact he laughed at me. I ended up switching networks and going somewhere else. It turned out I was having an emergency and I had to stay in the hospital. I think I may have just caught him on bad days, at least that's what I'm hoping but he and his staffs behavior was unacceptable.

Dr.Matt Hainey left me sitting in the room awaiting to have a stress test done. I didn’t know him opening the door meant I could leave . I was awaiting to have the stress test done . I never had one done . And neither him or his staff told me to leave . He knew I was sitting in the room awaiting because he told me he would have it done that day. I finally got up and asked the desk assistants if someone was coming to do the stress test on me . IT WAS VERY SUBTLY RUDE of him to do this. Never had him to do that before. He or the staff need to make sure the patients know when the appointment is over . I sat in the room 30 minutes.They usually offer prayer ,to let you know the appt is over, and there was no mention of prayer at ALL!

Dr Haney is the best doctor I have found in years! He listens, cares and gives you respect. You can be honest and he will find a way to help you. GREAT DOCTOR!

Dr Haney is patient and knowledgeable. He takes the time to understand what issues his patients are having.

Dr. Haney, takes time to listen to the patient, he doesn't rush you like so many other doctors do. He listens to your concerns and takes time to make suggestions that can help change the issue if medical intervention is not needed. He is in tune with his patients.
