The best!
I'm grateful for having Dr Freeman involved in my care when I was hospitalized during the holidays. Dr Freeman was instrumental in figuring out the cause of my symptoms and getting me started on the right treatment. I really can't say enough good things about his approach and the care I received!!

highly recommend
Dr. Freeman is a superb neurologist; and this is coming from someone who has been treated by several neurologists of the past 2 decades. He's the best that I have come across since moving from Boston.

Excellent neuro doc
Dr. Freeman came highly recommended by my former neurologist who recently retired. He reviewed my prior records and was able to provide new insight into my condition, as well as the pros and cons of new treatment options. He is detail-oriented, thorough and kind.

great neurologist
I was hospitalized recently and was cared for by Dr. Freeman. He was able to recognize and explain my condition immediately (which was not the case for some of the other doctors). I appreciated his kind demeanor and approach in general while I was in the hospital.

Very Poor Experience
I'm 73 with neuropathy in my feet. When my long time neurologist closed her Austin office, I moved to Dr. Freeman for this issue as I was already seeing him for annual cognitive check-ups (all good, fortunately). When I saw him in May, he reviewed the history of my neuropathy and told me to stop using the medical food (pharmaceutical grade Vitamin B that requires a prescription) and my feet have been slowly getting worse. However, he did renew a 30 pill prescription for pain in my feet. Four months later, he refused to renew the pain meds (my average use was 1 pill per 4.5 days) and refused my request to once again start taking the prescription grade Vitamin B. In fact, he denied ever seeing me for my neuropathy problem, even though he prescribed pain meds for it! Despite the distance, I’m back at my previous neurologist, taking both prescriptions and hoping my neuropathy pain will again subside. My experience with Dr. Freeman was the worst I’ve had in my lifetime.

Top doctor
Dr. Freeman has provided me with excellent care of the 3 years. It was apparent from the initial visit that he was very knowledgeable of my condition and treatment options. He has continued to provide sound guidance over the years and I have recommended friends to see him. My only complaint is that it can sometimes be difficult to schedule appointments at his office (they were booked out 4 months).

Dr Freeman is very a very kind Dr that takes the time to thoroughly explain your diagnosis & answer questions. I’ve been a patient of his for years now & see him 2-3x/yr & have always been treated with respect by him & his staff. At first he came off as a bit rough around the edges but the last 4 or 5x I’ve seen him he’s seemed to have consistently found the right balance between providing his medical opinions & advice with a less intense demeanor. He certainly maintains the expected professionalism from a doctor, but now seems to be more sociable during our appointments. I would recommend him without hesitation.
