Failure to respond to calls. Failure to diagnose.
Complete failure to communicate by the doctor and the PA. Wouldn't even call with biopsy results. Months of testing ended with no diagnosis.

Dr. Eves was able to correctly diagnose the cause of my illness and correctly find what remedy was needed. It took me over a span of four years to find a doctor that could correctly diagnose me and he did. I don't suffer anymore and I wanna thank him for that. he gave me my life back. I used to be so scared that if I went anywhere I would have an episode and now I don't have those concerns anymore. I can't say enough good things for giving me that.

Very Likely
Dr Eaves was kind, compassionate and caring . He explained my procedure in detail prior to the procedure. After the procedue he was very reassuring that all was successful with a good outcome and made me feel that things would be alright ! I appreciated his good communication, detailed explanation, and empathy .

DO NOT use this GI.
Several m.d.s consulted with me during a recent hospital visit. Because my condition falls under GI, there were no other GIs available. Dr. Eves refused to consult I was sepsis, it could have had a bad outcome. His office staff told me that Dr. Eves would not consult because they did not have my records...anyone within Mobile infirmary credentials, has my records.

This man almost killed me. I was in the hospital for a total of 15 days, half of those in the ICU due to complications from a procedure. He refused to take ownership of what happened at all. His story of what actually happened changed every single time it was told. And to top it all off, he had a “sit down” chat with me while I was sick as crap in the hospital about how I really needed to “lay off the pain meds”. So I’m not allowed to ask for medication when I’m in pain for something HE caused?? I was legit floored. He is about the most narcissistic man I’ve ever met. His office refused to answer my calls throughout the entire time I was sick. If they did call back, there was no communication with the doctor or appointments made. I was always told “go to the ER”. His nurse, Amy, is about the rudest nurse I have ever tried to talk to. I was literally told that I was expected to go back to work 1 week after getting discharged from ICU.

Wonderful doctor! Very compassionate. Did have to wait a while for a new patient appointment, but that is expected with a specialist! The office also explained that he is the only physician who performs advanced procedures in Baldwin County! I don't think that being angry with the wait times warrants a negative review on the physician himself, that is just not fair!! WORTH THE WAIT!!!

I found Dr. Eves to be very compassionate and provided excellent care. He treated me for some precancerous growths, avoiding surgery. Very good explaining procedures and outcomes.

I called for an appointment on 12/27/2019 and they lady on the phone would not give me an appointment until April2020. Making a patient with an acute condition wait 4 months is ridiculous. As I told the lady on the phone, I’ll be dead or feel better in 4 months. The lady on the phone did not care.

Never again. I will post this everywhere and tell everyone I can. This Dr overbooks appointments and you will wait hours to have procedures done. I just lost over $800.00 due to his office overbooking and the procedure couldn't be completed. Amy at his office stated I should have followed him to the hospital to have it completed and would not discuss refunding monies spent on a total wasted day. My time and my money is just as important as yours. Show respect to your patients.

Exam consisted of listening to my heart. He mostly used medical terms in his explanations so I had to repeatedly ask him to translate so I could understand. After I took the diagnostic test he recommended i never received the results of it. Nurse just called & told me Dr. wants me to see a diff doctor & they were scheduling me a another test. No one would discuss results w/me & no one cared I was sick during the test which I'm sure altered the results. I would not go back; Very disappointed!
