No compassion
Despite his expertise, I would not recommend Dr. Eadens. While he is thorough and knowledgeable, I did not find him to be a compassionate man. He talks fast and at a very high level. His job is to treat cancer and he will go to great lengths to do that. That's great if you have a cancer that can respond to treatment. But even when pushed he shies away from giving the patient the advise to rest and be at peace. My elderly mother just passed away from a non-curable cancer and the treatment protocol he was suggesting was ridiculous. From the time he first saw her until her final weeks, which was only 2 months in total, not once did he say that hospice care would be the better option. Thank goodness my mother had the ability to think for herself and she died at home rather than in the hospital which is where she would have been if she had pursued any of the treatments he had suggested.
