Was very g Very grateful that Dr.Dicaprio weighed in on the Albany Medical Center's review of my CT scans-which showed that my newly diagnosed esophogeal cancer had spread to my pelvic bone and spine. Dicaprio advocated for a needle biopsy to be absolutely certain that the care plan developed for me will address the type of BONE cancer I have in my body. Daily visits from his Resident (John) while I was undergoing all those tests in hospital were greately appreciated as well. HIGHLY recommend.

Dr Dicaprio is an excellent doctor and his PA. He has operated on me twice and both times very successful. He is very friendly , excellent bed side manner and answers all your questions

Dr DiCaprio and his PA Brad Palmer have done both of my knee replacement surgeries . Both knee replacements came out excellently. I would recommend them both if you ever need a knee replacement.

Dr. DiCaprio and his PA Brad Palmer have given me the best care after being misdiagnosed for a year. I highly recommend anyone seeing them as well as going to the clinic! Very informative, spent as much time as I needed answering all my questions and always checking on me!

Practice was busy, but sitting in the exam room 45 minutes past initial exam by PA (per the PA,”he was going to review my case with the doctor who ‘might’ want to exam me.”?!) was annoying. Add to that the doctor discussing my “case” in the hall with his PA - before meeting me. Voices carry - I was an “overweight time waster”. Before entering the exam room they decided to suggest additional testing. The doctor popped into the exam room, basic, gave me the pre-agreed upon recommendation for more pricey testing which he mentioned might not reveal anything. Completely missed the fact that I have a significant bunion that affects my gait - could that have lead to this hip/back pain?! Breezed out of the room after handing me a card and telling me to call his secretary if I wanted to schedule more tests. Didn’t observe my stride, recommend exercises or PT, suggest OTC treatments - felt like a number and would not be comfortable being treated by someone who clearly couldn’t care less about me

Avoid at all cost, inaccurate diagnosis, its more of a business then care for this doctor. Please if you can find another doctor take that over this guy.

I have been a patient of Dr Dicaprio and his sidekick Brad Palmer P.A. for a long time now. I followed him to Bone and Joint because he is a straight shooter and tells you how it is and what they can do to help you. They helped me put off total Knee Replacement on both knees til I was ready to retire. After both were done they discovered both hips needed total replacement now. I am a bionic woman now and forever grateful for their talent and kindness when I needed it the most. He is an excellent Dr and I promise you that you won't be disappointed in putting your trust in them for relief from terrible pain. So if someone asks about who's the best ortho cancer and replacement doc you can say with confidence "Hey I know this guy!".

Dr DiCaprio diagnosed a cancer which was overlooked by two other specialists and literally saved my life. He is extremely brilliant and compassionate. His treatment plan was explained in detail and I will be forever grateful to him for properly reading my MRI and making sure I had appropriate tests. I have to disagree with any negative comments as this doctor’s credentials speak for themselves. He is dedicated to finding cures for rare cancers which I have no doubt he will one day. He gave me my life back... Thank you Dr DiCaprio

Dr. DiCaprio is a top notch surgeon. His bedside manor is awesome! He is kind compassionate and honestly an excellent surgeon. I had a total hip replacement and feel like I have a whole new life because of him! His assistant Brad is top of the line as well! His kindness and bed side manor. The thorough explanations. This surgical team is magic to me! They are truly a talented team of professionals! I am so grateful that my pain management PA referred me to this practice. Thank you to everyone at Dr. DiCaprio's!

Had it not been for Dr. DiCaprio I would not be writing this review. He saved my life. And for that i will be forever grateful to him.

A terrible person and doctor. He is a liar and has terrible bedside manner. Avoid at all costs. Literally walked out on me while I was trying to explain my problems. Because I was overweight, he didn't feel I deserved relief and actually told me to see a chiropractor for osteo-arthritis... A CHIROPRACTOR!! This man should not have a medical license!

1 hour wait for 90 second exam. Got ankle brace that is helpful, but he just kind of "kicked the can down the road," offering no diagnosis, treatment plan or prognosis for relieving the pain I was experiencing. This was my second exam and now I have a third with a soecialist.

Dr. DiCaprio is kind, compassionate and at the top of his game. He ALWAYS has time for his patients, both in person and if you call on the phone. I was diagnosed with lipo sarcoma and he and his staff were so patient, responsive and caring. Now that removal of the tumor is behind me and I have been with Dr DiCaprio for two plus years, I am so very thankful that HE was the ONE local doctor. We are all very lucky to have him in our area.
