Dr. Cunningham never appeared for my scheduled appointment. I was kept waiting in a hospital gown, in a cold examining room for 3 and 1/2 hours. His PA said he was a little backed up, but would be in to see me. I waited but Dr. C. never came. I tried to find his PA, to no avail. After 4 hours I decided to leave. I finally encountered the PA on my way out. She was bewilded when I said the doctor never came. She didn’t know where he was. She mumbled, he must have forgotten. No apology was given.

Dr. Cunningham is very pleasant and easy going. He makes you feel at ease, all the while being very detailed about your condition and the procedure you will undergo. I am 100% satisfied with the outcome of my surgery and how attentive he was to me b4 and after surgery. I totally trusted my Drs decision and I was confident all will go as plan. I couldn't have had a better surgeon. Thank you Doc

Dr. Cunningham is extremely impressive. He has a warm, open manner. He takes the needed time with a patient and answers questions thoroughly, thoughtfully, and clearly. The office staff is extremely helpful and supportive. Dr. Cunningham takes a minimalist approach – do what is really needed yet not more. We quickly found that we trusted his judgment and insight. The surgery went very well and the after-care is top notch. I recommend Dr. Cunningham with complete confidence.

We are so lucky that we met Dr. Cunningham 2 years ago. His expertise, compassion and outstanding knowledge enabled my husband to walk again and improve his quality of life immensely. He brings to the table not only his expertise as an orthopedic surgeon ,but also his knowledge in bone metabolism which is a major piece of the puzzle overlooked by many orthopedic surgeons. In addition, his office staff, especially Tina, his office manager, was amazingly helpful every step of the way.

In 2014, I was determine to have a Spinal Stenosis condition. Living in New Jersey, the first Specialist I consulted, recommended surgery. I decided to go online to the Hospital Of Special Surgery, where I contacted Dr. Cunningham. Dr. Cunningham was great in explaining my condition and treatments available. I tried Spinal Injection first which worked for a while, but eventually had the surgery. It went very well, I am pain free, and can not thank Dr. Cunningham and his staff enough.

There are no words to describe the surgical expertise Doc C demonstrated remedying the conditions that had reduced my 21 yr old son to needing a cane. He knew the herniated disc shown in the MRI did not match the level of symptoms presented. He said it would be a game time decision to proceed with something further than repairing the disc. He spent 2 extra hours repairing the other issues. My son walked out the hospital without a cane that night. 4 weeks later my son is virtually pain free!
