Dr. Matthew Coulson, MD

Dr. Coulson is down-to-earth and always exceeds my expectations each appointment I have with him. It is really easy getting along with him because of how caring and dedicated he truly is with his patients, and I leave that office satisfied knowing a positive outcome was made in my life that day. Even as a teenager, I get along really well with Dr. Coulson and he treats me like a close friend!

He was kind and patient. He was so good with my son. The wait time was minimal. Thank you.

This peds doctor is amazing, my son first saw him in an emergency visit when his other pediatrician was out of town. So now he’s our go to! He’s thorough, kind, and most of all my son felt so comfortable with him he almost said I love you when he was saying goodbye! His office and staff were welcoming and friendly as well, just all around a great experience every time! Might have just found our new pediatrician! More than recommend!

I agree with the review stating that Dr. Coulson was defensive and argumentative. We fully vaccinate our children, but I like to introduce new vaccines by themselves. There may not be any scientific evidence surrounding my preferred method but it’s our preference. Again, we believe in vaccinations but it’s okay to be cautious. The last time I took my son there he lectured me about me, not getting him a flu shot. I am not sure if there’s a monetary incentive involved for them or not but it seemed like it. He was sassy and felt as if he was shaming me. I do have to say his nurse and the front desk employees were very kind!

Terrible Memorial cares app allows you to schedule an e care visit for you or a dependent So I added my daughter went through the prompts. Selected 0 to 17 video call. And scheduled the appointment. Appointment was for 1:15 we received a text stating we are 15 min away and to log in for our video call at 1:20 the office calls stating that my daughters chart didn’t have insurance information soooooo they took that. Placed me on hold Came back and said the doctor said it would be best to go in person but if we would like we can still do the video call and to log back in or stay in the call since we were in the call and he would be right there- by 2:10 we logged out with no one calling or showing up. We had called the office back and were told to stay logged in and they would send a message to the doctor that we are stillllllllll waiting. At 2:20 his office calls and says- since my daughter is over the age 12 she should have her own account - Like what YOUR PAGE AND APP ALLOWED ME TO ADD

Dr. Coulson always goes above and beyond what I've experienced with any doctor. I would highly recommend him to any mother looking for a great pediatrician.

Defensive and argumentative when asking questions about daughters health

Dr. Coulson was amazing with our son! Very interactive and friendly! He was also genuinely interested in our questions and sent helpful follow up links after our visit. All of the staff from the front desk to the nurses were very friendly and helpful as well! All around great experience :)

Our family loves Dr. Matthew Coulson. We travel to see him and always appreciate his advise. Our son, Mateo is always very excited to see him. Dr.Coulson is a real gem and we feel very lucky to found him .

Dr Coulson is very knowledgeable and caring, he makes my son very comfortable and helps me understand everything I need to.

Dr. Coulson truly takes the time with each patient. He listens to concerns, is knowledgeable, and since he is a parent of young children, he is relatable. I feel he actually knows each patient, knows their health history and not because he has to, but because he genuinely cares.

My 5 year old looks forward to her doctor’s appointments. That says it all!

Dr. Coulson was so warm and relatable. He made sure to explain the details and went above and beyond to ensure we had information and recommendations for next steps.

DR Coulson is an excellent doctor. He has been able to make my daughter feel comfortable all the way thru grade school and even now as a teenager. Also he is very patient about answering questions and explaining things.

Dr. Coulson takes time in answering all of our questions and also educates us especially since we are first time parents. No question is a bad question. He is super sweet with our daughter! I would highly recommend Dr. Coulson! He’s the best!

Dr. Coulson is extremely thorough and gentle. All three of my children love him and never fear going to the doctor because of him. He’s awesome and we feel super grateful he’s our kids doctor!

Arrogant, dismissive, rushes you out of the office, unnecessarily combative with me as a parent who is simply trying to do what is best for my kid with autism. So impossible to get an appointment with during reasonable hours. Will be changing PCPs.
