Love his personality. Even though I have had several Cystos with him, he still explains what he is going to do step by step. While he is doing the Cysto, he still explains what he is doing and everything that he sees. Highly recommend Dr. Clements.

I was referred to Dr. Clements from the ER, and right from the start, I realized I had won the lottery with this referral. He came to my first visit prepared, having knowledge of my case, having consulted with other doctors, and having a plan on how to move forward in mind. Dr. Clements was kind and knowledgeable, answered my millions of questions, and helped manage my anxiety not only during office visits but was also extremely responsive to my emails. Once we agreed on surgery as the best option, he quickly scheduled the surgery and had other specialists on hand during the surgery if any issues arose. The surgery was extensive, but throughout the whole process, from start to finish, I felt confident in Dr. Clements, supported by him, and heard. The surgery was a success, and I could not be more grateful. Dr. Clements has all the qualities, expertise, and compassion that you would want in a urologist. He saved my life and I could not be happier with my quality of care.

Definitely
Dr. Clements was very willing to answer questions about future options for treatment if bladder cancer reoccurs! I appreciated his thorough assessment and frank answers very much! He explained that these treatments were not without some risk and quantified the relative risk for each type of treatment. Dr. Clements also indicated that these treatments can be effective despite existing radiation cystitis. He also said that surgical removal of the bladder is most often considered to be the last option due to the relatively high risk of complications. When asked why the test results for a urine sample seemed to always report the existence or non-existence of any high-grade bladder cancer cells but not report on the existence of any low-grade bladder cancer cells, he explained that there currently is no reliable test to identify low-grade bladder cancer cells. Dr. Clements mentioned that he presently is involved in a research project to identify low-grade bladder cancer cells.

Dr. Clements is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He is very compassionate, caring, personable, knowledgeable, informative and explains everything in detail. He totally provides the options, recommends what he feels are my best choices and allows me to make my own decision. He never hesitates to make personal phone calls or messages if he has concerns. There are not many physicians that would do that.
