Dr. Matthew Clarke, MD

This doctor is the worst we have known and experienced. It concerns my aunt, an elderly person, who fell and broke her hand. When we arrived at the hospital, they said surgery was needed. This doctor showed up just five minutes before she was taken to the operating room, without exchanging a word with her or with us, her family. He turned around and said that he would be the one to perform the surgery without providing any details. After the surgery, he merely said, "Everything is fine," and walked away. Since then, two months have passed, and this doctor has canceled all follow-up appointments. His team justifies this by saying the X-ray machine is broken, and when we ask to speak with him, they say, "The doctor is very busy." At this point, we have had several emergency visits due to severe pain caused by the surgery, yet neither the doctor nor his team has been concerned with providing relief for the patient. Furthermore, he has not clarified the referral for therapies, and everything has truly been chaotic. This doctor lacks empathy towards his patients, is irresponsible with appointments, and is rude and lacking in manners and protocol. As a professional, he is irresponsible. Therefore, before going to him, make sure to thoroughly research other options; otherwise, you will have a bad experience. He should not have any courtesy in any hospital for handling emergencies.

Kendall Orthopedics Specialists and Dr. Clarke are sincerely dedicated to working with you to get you relief from your pain. He never pushed me into surgery, respected this, tried all avenues before realizing, yeah, I need surgery. My shoulder was in so much pain, that I could barely move it, let alone sleep on it. After surgery, thank goddness, I am pain free. Feels like my old, youthfull, shoulder and being a side sleeper, I'm grateful. The office is managed impeccably, I've never seen it overbooked, Ruth at the front desk always greets you warmly, Annabelle the surgical coordinator worked with me diligently, and persistently on all matters. This Doctor and Office definitely deserves a Five Star Rating. Hey, if we take care of our cars, we need maintenance as well, I think of him as "The Body Shop" for humans. So thankful for him.

Took mom to see Dr. Clark for a upper arm fracture but was seen by nurse practitioner instead who looked at her x-rays and gave us two options - surgery or let it heal naturally. We chose the heal option so he said come back in two weeks. Mom didn’t make it back but we got a bill for $1400+ for the recommendation. No treatment was performed. She was with an HMO and had a $0 copay for specialist visits. No claim was filed with the insurance company who requested a claim be filed. Weeks later we got a reduced bill for $900+. They still didn’t file a claim. Insurance company unable to speak to the office or billing company as the phones disconnect each time they are called. Threatening to send bill to collections.

The doctor who performed my my surgery is Dr. Mathew Clarke who performed his job/service with all the honed skills that only the best orthopedic surgeons can achieve; It was like magic. I never realized that I would recuperate as fast and as well as I did... It was by all means the expertise of the doctor. Thank you Dr. Mathew Clarke. My wife and I are very appreciative, and will trust any Orthopedic issues that we might have in the future in your hands. The doctor's entire team of nurses and office staff could not be friendlier, professional, and caring than they are.

I feel one weekend riding bicycle with my son. We both got injured. I was recommended to Dr. Clarke because the ER hospital I went to did not take my insurance. I have to say it was the Best thing that could have happened to me. Dr. Clarke welcomed me and helped me heal. I will always appreciate what he did for me.

Dr. Clarke has got to be one of the best surgeons I have ever let lay hands on me. My case was a complicated one and kne that I am still dealing with. But he saved my leg and my life. The road to recovery will be a long one since he is growing the bone I lost on my leg, but thanks to him I will be able to walk one day soon.

i had a surgery on my arm there that ended up getting infected. I complained that it was infected and they told me it wasnt. A month later my arm open up into a tiny wound leaking puss. Went in for ANOTHER surgery that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Left with MORE pain then before the surgeries. Kendall regional treated me POORLY when i was kept over night. Found a new doc and she fixed it and corrected it. Wasnt even what he diagnosed me with. It was a nerve issue not tendinitis.
