From Morning Sickness to Medical Mansplaining
I went in before my first ultrasound because I was having morning sickness (I ended up having hyperemesis gravidarum) and was asking for medicine because that worked with my previous pregnancy. Dr. Clark barely asked about my sickness, didn't even get a pee sample, and chose instead to question my use of medicine for my mental health that I told him was being overseen by my psychiatrist. He thought he knew better and tried to scare me into no longer taking my VERY needed meds. Women don't need to be treated like this and if he doesn't want to listen to women, maybe he should get a new specialty.

Let me give it to you straight.
If you are pregnant, and need an emotionally available warm Doctor Who will connect with you and be emotionally sensitive to you then this is not your guy. With that said, when it comes to performing surgeries or removing IUDs, Dr Clark's efficient and does great work. He definitely is excellent in every area of his work, except for one. His bedside manners. He is a kind soul, no doubt. But being able and choosing to connect on any emotional level with his patients? No. Surface level, down to business type of dude. I had a hysterectomy last July in 2023.When I met Dr. Clark he's smiles, yet he keeps his emotional distance, he's very matter-of-fact but doesn't offer you information you don't ask about. Make sense? It's not personal, it seems to be a part of his make up. He is Great in the surgery room. after my surgery was complete, he immediately left to deliver a baby and didn't send anyone to communicate to my husband. Again, Communication is disconnected.

Very Helpful, Wonderful OBGYN
Dr. Clark is calm, kind, respectful, knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. Everything you'd want in an OBGYN. I struggled with secondary infertility and he was very helpful to let me know what steps to take. Then he was my OBGYN during my pregnancy when I did finally get pregnant. I had a scary first pregnancy where I delivered early and I expressed to him my concerns of delivering early again. He took my concerns very seriously and took extra steps to make sure everything was okay. I really appreciated that. He was very supportive of me wanting to try a VBAC and I was able to have a successful VBAC! I felt very comfortable and safe with him in the delivery room delivering my baby. I recommend him to everyone I know. I'm forever grateful for his help in helping me finally get pregnant and have my dream birth a VBAC.

I had an early ultrasound due to having flank pain. He told me I was having a miscarriage because there was no baby on the ultrasound. It was too early to have seen a baby regardless unless they did a vaginal ultrasound which they did NOT do. If they would have they would have seen that I was indeed NOT having a miscarriage I was just early on in my pregnancy. He didn’t listen to any concerns of my concerns and the main way to contact the office is text message. They put an order in for a lab draw which they told me the lab could do and they couldn’t do it there. Lots of miscommunication and misinformation. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

WORST EXPERIENCE
This was my worst experience with a doctor! I am super high risk this is my 7th pregnancy with no success. I see a regular Ob and a high risk pregnancy specialist. Dr. Clark did not care about my history or my current concerns AT ALL!! Spent maybe 10 minutes 5 of those minutes I was waiting in the room and the other 5 minutes was the doctor and I. He introduced himself and then asked if I had any pain or questions and. I went ahead told him my history when he asked. I can’t even remember if he took notes but all he was “Said ok take your prenatal and see you in 4 weeks”.Let me remind you this my 7th pregnancy with no babies. The only reason I wrote this is because they wrote on my chart that they are spending 30 minutes with me explaining treatment to me when I was there no more that 10 minutes in the room.

Im pregnant with my first and went to Dr. Clark only because my first doctor will be out of town when I’m due. Dr. Clark left me waiting for a half hour, then when I went in told me to “pull down my pants” with no option for privacy, even when I asked for it. He was with my husband and I for about 5 minutes total to do the ultrasound, then asked if I had any major pain or problems, then immediately left. I didn’t get to ask any questions or even get to tell him anything about me or what I want for the baby. I felt extremely uncomfortable and like he felt inconvenienced that I was there. Also, the clinic is so dingy and doesn’t inspire any confidence. I honestly wouldn’t recommend him to anyone unless they had no other choice.

Pregnant with my first baby and having a miscarriage. Had been to the hospital Sunday because of the bleeding, go to my appointment with him Tuesday and he seemed to be annoyed that I was there. The hospital was not 100% it was a miscarriage told me follow up with my dr. Already had the appointment scheduled, (it was going to be my 10-12 week to find out how far I really was.) My husband and I both felt like we were in his way and that he had no care to see how I was feeling or even really ask about the bleeding that was still happening. He just sent me away and wasn’t even with me for 3 minutes. Hello first time mom and the dr treats me like garbage. Wouldn’t trust him with my baby in anyway if he can’t even treat me like a person.

I was really sick during my pregnancy and suspected (aka had) Hyperemesis Gravidarum. I tried to tell him how sick I was and how much weight I lost but he really wouldn’t listen to what I had to say. He would always answer my questions but whenever I would mention how sick I was he kind of just belittled it and made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal when really it was. I couldn’t get up and walk, shower, or really anything for 12 weeks! I could only keep maybe on tiny meal down a day, with medicine, and eat popsicles for fluid. In a doctor, I expect someone who listens to how I feel and to give me the best care that I and, in this case too, my baby need.

He asked about my concerns and looked at the rash I had and affirmed it was shingles. Told me what he was going to prescribe and what would the follow-up and asked me if I had anymore questions. He was quick and to the point and I was out of there. Since the nurse filled out all the information before, he was aware of my condition before asking me questions. He is not my usual doctor I think that’s why he wasn’t very friendly, but he was ok.

Great doctor very gentle! Nurses are calming. Great experience, I would recommend him to anyone needing a doctor. He removed an IUD that my previous doctor said would most likely need to have a hysterectomy to get out, because my cervix was scared. He said he would give it a try it came out pain free in a matter of seconds.

I had the worst experience with Dr. Clark. Avoid him at all costs, unless you want to get patient profiled like I did. I went into him with a real concern, and not only did he not even look at my urine sample, and blood pressure, which would have proved I was hurting, he based his decision off of my chart and what doctors in the past had done. He doesn't care at all and is judgemental. I was profiled before I even stepped foot in his office, and left in tears because of how bad he made me feel.

I first started seeing Dr. Clark before I was married for an exam and birth control. Since then, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and he performed a laparoscopy on me. He was the first doctor in 5+ Years to listen to my issues and diagnose me past just a “painful period.”

It seems he couldn’t be less interested is being at each appointment. I have felt on different occasions that I’m more of a burden than a valued patient. I’ve only gone to him out of necessity because my provider was unavailable.

I went in for some repair work for prolapsed bladder and other repairs. From the first day, I could tell something wasn't right. I went in for 6 week check, up told him my fears and was told to just wait and see. After 5 months it is as if the surgery never took place and I am starting over. Pretty incompetent and would not listen or take accountability.

Dr. Clark was helpful in every step of our pregnancy, including pre pregnancy when there was infertility troubles. Dr. Clark was always aware of my specific situation and needs at every appointment. He always answered my questions and explained things so that I was educated and comfortable (especially with it being my first pregnancy). I honestly have had no concerns whatsoever and will be sticking with Dr. Clark for future pregnancies and health situations.
