Had seen him once and then my primary doctor wanted me to see someone else in his office. Dr. Bromer blew a gasket and called me at 8pm on a Friday when I was in Best Buy and proceeded to tell me my primary doctor was an idiot and my opinion about my health was irrelevant. He told me my own opinion was stupid. This guy has one of the biggest ego's on the planet thinking he is the best and no one else can do what he does.

Horrible attitude
Had a colonoscopy last week, was told all went well. Called the office today to ask if I need to stay on medication that was prescribed before the procedure. The office called me back and, I kid you not, said they talked to me a lot before, if I have an issue I need to make an appt. I don't have an issue, just want to know whether or not to renew the prescription. Said I'd be looking for another doctor.

My husband tried to make an appointment as a new patient with Dr. Bromer but the staff member that answered my phone was absolutely horrendous. Her name is Carolina. Had an telemedicine appt made a month ago and was on time for the appointment only to be told the doctor was unavailable. He had to beg her to let him finish speaking how unprofessional this was but rudely hung up. Just another example of a physician reputation ruined by its staff. I am beyond disappointed.

Dr. Bromer may be a fine GI doctor the Gastro Health support staff were unhelpful and difficult to deal with. they refused to run anticipated procedure codes through my insurance company so I would have a idea as to what costs would and would not be covered. They refused to do this and told me that they would not contact the insurance company until after the procedure was completed and that I would be responsible for any and all cost not covered by the insurance company. This is the first time I have ever had a request like this turned down.

Too prone to recommend procedures with which he apparently is most familiar. Gives the kind of advice which suggests necessity of second opinion. When further studies ordered by him didn't back up his recommendation, never heard from him again.

I saw Dr. Bromer about 2-3 years ago and just now leaving a review. He easily and correctly diagnosed me, as another GI doc said I had celiac disease and was wrong. I was so relieved! He definitely knows his stuff and I would highly recommend him.

I was very disappointed that the doctor did not want to hear a concern I had about how his staff did not want to provide an explanation to a question I had and how they behaved unprofessionally. Instead he sided with them and did not allow me to explain what happened. He preferred to brow beat me in front of other staff and patients and made it clear he did not care what I had to say. I was dismayed and felt too sick to properly defend myself. I still don’t know why that happened. I am not sure I would have received proper care as the doctor allows his staff to be mean to patients.

Dr Bromer reminds me of the old-fashioned doctor that makes you feel as though you are family and gives you all the time and has all the patience to review any problems or questions. To say the least, Dr. Bromer literally saved my husband’s life and for that there is nothing more I can say.

Dr. Bromer is great, listens well and is caring and is five stars. I have deducted a star for the staff, facilities and processes I don’t want this to hurt is rating. My biggest complaint is billing. You will receive a bill with a place to write your credit card numbers on it. This or sending checks through the mail is an invitation to identity theft. The office closes at 5 on week days and is not open on weekends making it difficult to get in and make a payment.

I became a patient of Dr. Bromers as I was refereed to him by my Lupus specialist Dr, Greer. Dr. Broomer knowledge of Lupus and its effects on the GI system is more extensive than anyone in his field that I have been to and I have had serious problems. Dr. Bromer is an excellent doctor with a very, very kind "bedside manner" and a great sense of humor which is wonderful when you are really ill. His office staff is on top of matters , very good with patients!! :) 5 Thumbs up !!!

He does not sugar coat. He is clear to the point and extremely thorough. I know he saved my life! I was being treated by another group of doctors that claimed they were experts in my issues. Dr. Bromer showed me in medical books and studies that they were wrong and put me on the proper regiment.
