Dr. Matthew Brimberry, MD

Dr. Brimberry is without question the best medical doctor I have ever worked with. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of medical conditions. He moves right into the issue, helps you understand what is going on, and either resolves the issue right there or knows a specialist who can help with the problem. I have been with him since he was new to the practice. I have seen his practice grow. But in all that time I have never felt rushed. He focuses on you when he is in the room. If you have questions, he explains things in simple terms. He checks to make sure you're ok before he leaves. He is great. I can't give a higher recommendation to anyone than I give to Dr. Brimberry.

My gem doctor-friend of 27 years is retiring. After a lot of research, I selected a potential new doctor: Dr. Brimberry for 2024. But I ended up up with unusual ear pain and made a new patient appt. (also an interview of sorts for us both). Dr. Brimberry was knowledgeable about my medical conditions and asked important questions to understand more about my history. He throughly checked out the ear, nose, and sinuses, and chose the least involved treatment to start. I appreciate a dr. who doesn't go first to oral medications (if not a bacterial infection, etc.) and chooses a middle path in 'first doing no harm.' Personable, intelligent, listens and takes in everything said, and explains well. I am glad to have such a competent new doctor.

Dr. Brimberry became my primary care Doctor when Dr. Weary retired. I have found him to be an excellent provider throughout these years. His office and all of his personal staff are kind and caring.

Dr. Brimberry has been our family physician for five years now. He is an expert in his field of practice and is a most capable family physician. Not only is he the best technically. Dr. Brimberry is smart, practical, and kind.

Dr Brimberry listens and takes his time.. he actually stepped in and suggested few meds that may help relief a chronic disease that I have.

I was suffering with migraines and headaches for a long time. Dr. Brimberry not only explained to me how they work, but how I can identify triggers to help prevent them and steps to shorten the span I’ve had them. Best Doctor I’ve ever seen! Seriously, if I were still living in Austin I’d to this day still have him as my primary. Do yourself a favor and choose him! You won’t regret it!

I can always count upon Dr. Brimberry to be thorough, and never rushed. I have absolute trust in his abilities. He is personable, caring, and has on more than one occasion gone far above and beyond to ensure that all medical challenges are addressed and taken care of. He is absolutely the best!

During these trying times of illness and pandemic, we patients should ensure that we share the best information possible when rating our physicians. I have the best Doctor for my multiple conditions that my family has been seeing since 2015. I am so grateful for such high standards of care! If he has to refer me at all, he also ensures I have the very best physician care. He is patient centered, and all of his peers, staff, and administration are the same. I am not a number. Dr. Brimberry is a kind and caring doctor. His bedside manner is able to calm me, my wife, and my kids down, and remove all that nervousness when you don't know what's wrong. You can tell he is highly intelligent, yet breaks things down in a simple way so you can make good decisions with him. Really liked how nice the staff is, and how much time he spent with us. Fully recommend.

Dr. Brimberry is a very arrogant and non empathetic doctor. He was down right rude and unprofessional with me. All because I expressed a concern with the rude front desk staff, another doctor prescribing medication that clearly should not have been prescribed and the lack of communication and openness about the medical care needed. As a result Brimbury unilaterally released me from care and refused to allow me to see another doctor. He prevented me from obtaining medication necessary to prevent diabetes. As a partner, Brimbury is only concerned with his own agenda. He appeared very hostile and disrespectful . He never greeted me in a professional manner and talked down to me.

Dr. Brimberry is smart, very interactive, personal, professional and wants to help you improve your life by being as healthy as you can be. His explanations are kind of like goldilocks, not too technical, not too simple, but just right for me. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

I worked in a family practice office myself so I may have a better idea of what to expect of a primary care physician than many patients. Dr. Brimberry is the ideal personal physician as far as I'm concerned; he takes his time, looks you in the eyes & really LISTENS. He's thoughtful, compassionate, & employs what I can only describe as flawless medical judgment. He explains things on the patient's level of medical understanding & works WITH the patient. I'm grateful he accepted me as a patient.
