Poor Scheduling and Time Management
I was previously a patient and left after two visits. The first visit went well and he listened to my worries, although he did brush aside one of my concerns. The second visit is what made me leave. I had scheduled a phone call visit and had to wait 40 minutes, only to be told that my appointment has been rescheduled. Because of this, I had to ask them to schedule another appointment, the earliest availability being a couple weeks out. When I called for this appointment, I had to wait again for 40 minutes and when the doctor finally came to the phone, he spoke with me for ~5 minutes. I had to step out of a social situation for this call, and people were really shocked when I came back so quickly given the nature of the call. Dr. Brams may be a good psychiatrist, but I feel I did not have the opportunity to experience that due to poor scheduling and time management on his office's part.

Great family psychiatrist
Dr.Brams is a great psychiatrist and person. He makes you feel understood and listens. He gives feedback, especially when you ask. His front office staff always return emails and calls the same day if not to late.

Seems like a decent doctor but he's unprofessional and made me wait 1.5 hours. Overall this practice has poor operations and terrible customer service. Good luck getting your phone call answered, and be prepared to wait days for an email response. As others have mentioned, this place is slow and unresponsive.

Dr. Brams has been my Psychiatrist for over 20yrs. Dr. Brams is very passive and easy to talk to. He will address whatever issues you may be experiencing in a very concerned and compassionate manner. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a good Psychiatrist.

Dr. Brams is the best psychiatrist. Absolutely, the most kind, understanding, the most nonjudgmental doctor. He is The Best; therefore, I did not mind a wait or cancellation of appointment.

Love the Dr. but he is always running late so don't plan anything around his appointments. His staff is terrible, never return phone calls. My general practitioner called and sent an email to him and never got a response. I am now out of my medication and will have to find another doctor because no one has called back after 2 months of trying to talk with someone to schedule an appointment or get a refill called in.

Worst office staff in Houston Area. They hardly answer phones almost never respond to messages or emails. The staff will tell you they will be sending your prescription to the pharmacy and fail to do so. Resulting in patients not receiving medication when refills are needed jeopardizing patient's health and well being. The really needs to be a sweep with the office staff. It is a shame such a well known prestigious doctor has such a horrible staff.
