Beyond grateful.
One year ago a family member was rushed to ER at Cedars and Dr Bloom was the surgeon on call. Within the hour Dr Bloom made the diagnosis and was prepping him for surgery. There was a huge blood loss and it was extremely touch and go. After 3 plus hours in surgery my family member was recovering. ( he also was still recovering from a previous extensive back surgery) the two were unrelated. Within the next week Dr Bloom had my family member back in surgery twice. It was beyond believable. Ruptured ulcer and other complications. My family member spend many weeks at Cedars recovering. Dr Bloom checked in everyday except when he was out of town. And then he made sure to stay in touch. He saved his life not once but twice and made sure he was receiving the proper care. I know I spent most nights and early mornings at Cedars.I am truly grateful for the amazing surgeon he is and the time he put in to acknowledge the families concerns. Thank you Dr. BloomS. Farber

Bad bedside manner. Condescending
He was completely condescending during my hospital stay and had no concern for my pain or fear.

I've had an excellent experience with all nurses and doctors. I am grateful for the care I received and have told family friends about this .
