Dr. Matthew Blanton, MD

Dr Blanton and his staff were absolutely amazing. He was kind and professional and I cannot recommend him enough. He is a wonderful surgeon and he provided a life changing surgery for me and my daughter. Could not be more pleased. He was a God send.

My experience as a cancer patient undergoing a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with Dr. Blanton's practice was nothing short of a nightmare. From the mismanagement of medication by the nursing staff to the significant delays in scheduling my surgeries, the level of incompetence and negligence I encountered was appalling. Initially, I was assured that my surgery would take place within three months, only to be repeatedly disappointed when it was pushed back to over six months without explanation or apology. This delay not only caused unnecessary anxiety but also impacted my recovery and overall well-being.To make matters worse, a year later, I discovered that Dr. Blanton had used the wrong type of implant and placement during my reconstruction surgery. This egregious error necessitated a complete revision surgery, prolonging my already arduous journey and subjecting me to additional physical and emotional trauma. I hope no other cancer patient has to experience such negligence

Dr. Blanton did an amazing job. I had my breast implants replaced, after 15 years! One of implants from the previous surgery ruptured, and Dr. Blanton did a wonderful job on cleaning out the capsule, and removing scar tissue. His precision, from the initial consultation to my recent 2 week post op appt. Is amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Blanton. He was trained by the #7 of top 100 compiled in “Newsweeks “Americas Best Plastic Surgeons for Breast Augmentation 2022”, Need I say more? Exemplary surgeon.

He has done 4 surgeries for me, soon to do another and he is an absolute amazing Dr. He was there every step of the way and afterwards when I got a bit of infection. His bedside manner is the best.

Dr. Blanton was my surgeon for both of my battles with breast cancer (2013/2015) so we’ve spent a lot of time together...Lol. His bedside manner is impeccable. Never once have I felt rushed or as if I was a “number” to him. He’s sincere, he answered all of my questions, as well as my family’s questions. Speaking of family, they adore him as well. The physical, emotional and mental battle that comes with breast cancer, my family and I felt safe knowing Dr. Blanton was a significant part of my medical team. ~ Dr. Blanton, thank you for helping us get through all of it!

I would give him zero stars if possible. As soon as the surgery is over he’s done with you and passes you off to nurses/assistants. I had complications and he still wasn’t accessible. I would never recommend him and would advise anyone to save yourself heartache and find someone that will be just as interested in you AFTER your surgery is over as when they are trying to sell it to you.
