Dr. Matthew Barber, MD

I had my initial visit with Dr. Barber last week. Even though I was in considerable pain, his demeanor immediately put me at ease. He was kind and concerned. He spent a considerable amount of time with me asking questions, discussing and showing me my inflamed and damaged joint on xray and giving his input on the options I had. I'm secure with my choice; Dr. Barber is definitely a ten star physician who loves his work and cares for his patients.

Dr. Matthew Barber is the best Dr. for total knee replacement surgery. I had a total knee replacement in March of 2019. I haven't had any problems. On November 4th 2024 I had another complete knee replacement on my left knee. I'm doing really good. I love the spirit that Dr. Barber has. He believes in praying before surgery. With the help of the good Lord and Dr Barber I have come a long way. I am looking forward to a speedy recovery. I highly recommend Dr Barber over any other Othaphedic. I'm sure there's other good ones, but I know about Dr Barber from experience.

Dr. Barber was highly recommended. Being a new patient the appointment was pushed out. I was told I could call to check on cancellation openings. Every time I called, the appointment desk was wonderful & never irritated. Super friendly!My appointment was very professional with everyone I dealt with. They were all extremely friendly. They took me straight to X-ray & it was the most thorough X-ray of my knees ever. I was put in an exam room right after & his nurse asked me some questions & the doctor came very soon after. He was very informative answered all my questions. Explained what surgery would be like, the ups & downs & risks & rewards. Surgery is scheduled & will have more info provided by them, before it happens. I had a very positive experience. This is from someone who never wanted to use AOC due to a negative experience with my dad years ago.

The entire staff was friendly. PA Scott Morrison gave me a shot in my knee but I never felt it. Dr Barber was easy to talk to and believes in taking the conservative approach which I am thankful for.

Dr. Barber was very helpful in planning my full knee replacement. Friendly, comfortable, knowledgeable explanation about what to expect after the operation. I left feeling very good about my upcoming operation.

Dr. Barber replaced my knee he is a wonderful surgen and has a wonderful bedside manner, he explains everything he will be doing and explains all the after care you will be receiving.I will have my other knee replaced by him next March. Wonderful and caring person.

Both Dr Barber and his PA were informative and came up with a treatment plan that suited my particular case. The only complaint would be I wasn’t seen until 2 hours after my appointment time.

Dr. Barber was very kind and caring. He was attentive and answered all of my questions as well as gave great advice. He even offered suggestions that would help me with my goal. Dr. Barber did everything he could to help me get my needs met. I wish all of my doctors were like Dr. Barber.

Staff helpful, pleasant, prompt

Front door reciptionist very rude. Herded through process , rarely looked at. Too busy looking down at computer screens. Rarely saw a smile on anyone’s face except nice man at checkout.Dr Barber was really the only positive factor .

He's a no non-sense professional who is very attentive to details and informative. His team is very friendly and on the spot helpful to my needs and concerns. Most importantly, Dr. Barber prayed to God almighty with me and my wife before surgery. My whole experience has been great.

He explained everything, how the procedure is done and what to expect after the surgery. I felt confident about having the surgery with him.

I totally appreciate that Dr.Barber took his time explaining my upcoming surgery and what to expect before and after the procedure. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions throughly.

Dr. Barber did replacements on both knees in 2018. It was like my life was renewed! I was able to walk without pain for the first time in 10 years. I was again able to enjoy working on my small farm. Now, in 2024, my knees are still free of pain. Best ortho doctor ever! Well worth having to make multiple 150 mile trips to see him and have the surgery. His staff is excellent. I was able to get an appointment within the next two weeks. Waiting time after I arrival was less than 20 minutes. I would recommend Dr. Barber to anyone who has problems with their knees.

I was in bad pain. AOC worked me in quickly. Dr Barber relieved pain and recommended knee replacement at my convenience. Time was important due to upcoming vacation

Dr. Barbour replaced one knee 5 years ago and it is perfect! Wait time and staff are great. I trust him to give me the best care! I highly recommend Dr. Barbour.

This is the second knee he has replaced The right knee 3 years ago has been great. The left knee ASAP. Looking forward to this replacement.
