During tests on my wife, Dr Naveed detected a blockage that was not normal and forwarded those images immediately to Dr. Albert – even though he was out of the country. Within minutes, Dr. Albert texted to directly stating that this was something he could fix when he returned to the U.S. Shortly afterward, my wife had surgery where Matt removed at least 6 feet of dead colon from my wife. It has only been 2 months from her surgery and my wife continues to recover but she is already feeling 1000% better than she was prior to the surgery. Due to my illness of 13 years, Dr. Albert was up for the challahs of my case of a colectomy. To say the process was easy is a complete understatement. I met Dr. Albert in May of 2020 when I was transferred to Advent Hospital as an emergency patient during the peak of COVID. I met with Dr. Albert and his team and they had reviewed 6 months worth of hospital records and were well prepared when they met me. He and his team were compassionate, kind and matter-of-fact. He explained the emergency surgery I was to have step-by-step and answered all questions that I had. I knew I needed to have an ileostomy and was more than ready, Dr. Albert and his team agreed this was a life saving emergency surgery and removed any remaining small doubts I had. Because I could not have any visitors before or after surgery due to COVID, Dr Albert and his team made sure I was well taken care of before, during and after my surgery! Today, I am enjoying life, one day at a time! Thank you Dr. Albert for giving me my life back!

Dr Albert is the best! Besides being very nice, he is extremely thorough and has solved all of my problems in the least painful way possible. I will use him over and over and highly recommend him!

Dr. Albert is a no nonsense surgeon that is very experienced. He has even developed some of his own tools to aid in surgery.
