Dr. Firouzi reviewed my Dad's medical records upon referral. Dr Firouzi saved my Dad's life!! Dr. Firouzi wasted no time with setting up tests and appointments for treatments locally as well as in Philadelphia. The following 6 month my Dad got the run around from other Dr's in Philadelphia on if he needed treatment, surgery, or if he even had cancer. Dr. Firouzi did not allow my Dad fall through the cracks. Dr. Firouzi pushed forward with my Dad having surgery in Philadelphia by a Penn Medicine specialist. Finally the surgeon in Philadelphia agreed to remove the "thing" as he called it. Immediately following the surgery, the surgeon acknowledged that Dr Firouzi was RIGHT, it was a TUMOR and it was CANCER. I feel extremely blessed, Dr Firouzi was an advocate for my Dad to receive the treatment he needed to be a cancer survivor. If it wasn't for Dr Firouzi my Dad wouldn't be with us today. I am forever grateful for Dr Firouzi!

Dr Firouzi has been my gastroenterologist since I started having colonoscopies about 15 years ago. During my first one, he recognized that what looked like a polyp in my colon was actually an inverted diverticulum. A less experienced doctor may have clipped it thinking it was a polyp and caused a perforated bowel. Also, 3 years ago while performing a routine colonoscopy on me he discovered a mass in my prostate which had been missed by my primary physician. He basically saved my life. I've been battling prostate cancer since but it is being controlled by my team of physicians and caregivers at Geisinger in Danville. Had it not been for him I still wouldn't know I had cancer today, and it would be far advanced. Thank you Doctor Masoud.

I was away from my hometown. I fell ill, severely. I phone my GP and he told me I had food poisoning. I went to ER they could not find anything . I was feeling miserable. I called Dr. Firouzi and described my symptoms. He told me to immediately take a blood test to measure my Cortisol level, as he suspected I was going through Addisonian crisis. I did so and upon seeing the results he sent me to Georgetown hospital where they were waiting for me. He warned me that my condition was so severe that I shouldn't drive myself. They found out my pituitary was dead, and no hormones were being produced in my body. Dr. Firouzi saved my life, by diagnosing my problem on the phone when ER and my GP doctor couldn't.
