Dr. Milburn Mason
This is the third review that I have tried to submit Dr.Mason was quite mean and uncaring. My humerus bone had been shattered with a cro-bar. He placed a great deal of metal in my shoulder and arm. After care care visits with him were actually frightening. He was angry that during therapy I could not rotate my arm completely. To this day I cannot rotate my arm completely and I have a great deal of pain. I waited too long to write this review, as it is not my nature to criticize, but I finally realized that I had to do it so that perhaps he will read it and re-think about his pompous, arrogant ways.

Highly Skilled Orthopedic Ankle Trama Surgeon
Biking acident evening of 9/16/2023 went to Advocate Illinois Masonic Emergency Room then was amitted to the hospital after x-rays revealed a broken ankle. Sunday 9/17/2023 Dr Milburn came to hospital and was able to successfully install a plate and screws to stabilize my foot and ankle which was broken in multiple places. Just had my follow up visit with him and had the stitches removed. No sign of infection, no bleeding and the wound is healing nicely. Its my understaning that these can be tricky procedures when the ankle is as swollen as mine was and with there being limited skin at the ankle. Infections and problems with the skin healing properly can occur. I am experiencing none of that. Having a skilled surgeon makes a difference! There were hospital staff communiction issues/information inconsistencies. 0When I spoke to Dr. Milburn at the follow up appointment he allayed most of my concerns. He was able to definatively answer my questions and explain things fairly well.
