Dr. Mashail Manzur, DPM

Dr Manzur was pleasant, professional and thorough. The office already let me know what needed to be paid through my insurance. Dr. Manzur listened to my concerns, answered my questions and Gabe me a thorough examination. I in no way felt rushed which was nice, but I was also on time for my appointment and did not have to wait to be seen.

Co-pay first, short, I mean short form; 5 minutes with the Dr., that was a prescription first, no answers to questions-what is the problem, is it a fungus, yeast, whatever. Weird the prescription given is a compound (more expensive for patient and insurance company) that she requires you get from somewhere in New Orleans? Why, no answers 'that is the the way we do it' No answers when asked, 'how do you know what to give me since you won't tell me what the diagnosis is'-basics show simple basic compounding drugs-with an 'etc' that local pharmacies can't refill since they don't have the 'magic New Orleans Pharmacy' recipe. I wonder who owns the pharmacy in New Orleans?

If I could give this review negative stars, I would. Dr. Mansur had positive reviews so set up an appointment for her for my fiancé who has chronic issues with his feet. The first appointment was not great, but it was ok and Dr. Mansur prescribed 3 medications. Only 1 was covered by insurance, which was addressed in his follow-up appointment. In the follow-up appointment, the doctor DID NOT EVEN TOUCH my fiancé's feet! He asked that she remove the calluses from the bottom of his feet (as all other podiatrists have done in the past) and she refused and instead suggested that he get a pedicure. WHY would he pay to see a podiatrist JUST to be told to go get a pedicure???? Again, this is a chronic issue, so he has seen a number of other foot doctors and was trying to establish care in GA (we recently moved here). NO other podiatrist has allowed him to leave without removing the very painful spots from the bottom of his feet. I called the office back and spoke to the office manager "

I have a Morton's Neuroma and was having a flare up. In the past had good luck with cortisone injection when I lived in Ohio. Now searching for a podiatrist who will listen and make sure I was comfortable. As a retired nurse I also wanted a doctor I can collaborate with as I know what has worked in the past. Dr. Manzur fit the bill completely and I will be seeing her from now on. She listened, evaluated my needs and addressed them. She explained everything she was doing along the way.
