Dr. Fujiki and Dr. Kareem both saved my life performing a liver transplant followed by a colovesical fistula repair with their surgical teams. Prognosis was extremely dim (dark) and I made it through. Highest recommendations to these top flight surgeons. How do you thank a doc for saving your life ? Dr. Fujiki is a world-class, most excellent transplant surgeon. He and his partner were responsible for my liver transplant from a living donor. My care has been amazing. Not only are the doctors at the Clinic the best, but their supporting staff of doctors, nurses, technicians and coordinators are also excellent. In spite of the world’s best technology, this program is very human and they treat the entire individual. The doctor has seen me everyday since surgery and his concern for me as a person is obvious and appreciated.

Dr. Fujiki performed the liver transplant on a family member and assisted in complications after surgery due to hernias. Thorough and direct in treatments and his expertise helped save a life (twice)

Dr. Fujiki and his team performed my liver transplant on October 25, 2014 at Cleveland Clinic. The very first time I met this fine surgeon was just few a hours before the operation, shortly after I arrived at the hospital from Connecticut. His calm, quiet demeanor instilled in me the confidence that I was in very capable hands; working at world renown Cleveland Clinic indicated he was not just a good but an exceptional surgeon. I whole heartedly and without reservation recommend Dr. Fujiki.
