I met Dr. Sebastian for the first time in October of 2021. I had a positive experience and was seen on time. I then went to make my yearly check up appointment with her in Oct 2022. I made an appt. and three days prior to the appt. it was cancelled. I could not get the appt. rescheduled until Dec/Jan 2022. Guess what? That appointment was cancelled as well and a third appt. was scheduled for early February. I arrived to that appt. on time and waited over an hour in the exam room, without anyone coming to let me know how behind she was running. I chose to leave and not wait after a total of 75 minutes. That appt. was then rescheduled again for the end of March. On the morning of the appt. guess what? They called to cancel it again. Probably one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a medical professional. Unreal!

Both my wife and I are disabled veterans of the US Marine Corps. My wife is also a breast cancer survivor, so when we moved to Arlington, VA, we had to end our long-standing care from two outstanding physicians, one an oncologist the other a breast surgeon. Luckily, my wife's new breast health surgeon in Arlington is Dr Sebastian, who is superb. Her bedside manner is magnificent, her communication skills explaining related medical issues outstanding, her integrity and judgment unimpeachable. What a relief it is to have my wife under her reliable care in her area of expertise as unfortunately my dear wife's multiple disabilities and needs for other specialty care are extensive,

Dr. Sebastian was my doctor 11 years ago and did a fabulous job with my breast surgery.

Dr. Sebastian is a FANTASTIC doctor! She is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and detail oriented. A genuinely compassionate human being! As pleased as I was with Dr. Sebastian’s work, I was extremely disappointed with the results of my Immediate DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction performed by Dr. Alex Mesbahi, who was one of the three Plastic Surgeons recommended by her. The DIEP Flap surgery was poorly done. It left me with uncomfortably abnormal bilateral bulges of tissue that extended from my armpits to the bottom of my breasts. The breasts were left asymmetrical, unsmooth and hollow in some areas; the stitches on my abdomen are sitting 3" below navel (too high) and have two small “dog ears” on each side of the suture line. In hindsight, I wish I could have selected a Plastic Surgeon of my choice rather than be restricted to one of only three choices of Plastic Surgeons recommended by her. All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Sebastian for a bilateral mastectomy!

I recommend Dr. Sebastian to everyone I know. Aside from being a gifted surgeon, she is the kindest, most thoughtful doctor who explains options and listens -- truly listens.
