She was convinced I was schizoaffective, I’m not. I was prescribed medication I didn’t need, and gained weight to the point where I was obese. Since my housing was provided on the condition that I remain med compliant, I was in a sober living, I had no other choice than to take what was prescribed. Been off medication for three months now, and I’m working my dream job something that other specialists have told me was a grandiose delusion essentially. Started as an intern and I’ll be making $30 an hour in a month. I’m in the music business now. When I was prescribed seroquel by her I would take it at night and almost immediately enter a state of extreme confusion, which was observed and made fun of by staff at the sober living. Weeks later when I noticed on the label of the drug to consult your doctor if you experienced any confusion I was belittled and told essentially that it wasn’t worth wasting the doctors time. I promise you I’m making none of this up. Almost sadistic.
