Obnoxious and rude
This woman made my daughter cry and granddaughter upset when being seen for concern with her pregnancy. My daughter lost her last baby early in her pregnancy and has many concerns with this pregnancy. This “doctor “ made her feel foolish and practically yelled at her for seeking help with a genuine concern. Would not recommend this woman to anyone.

Great bedside manner and overall wonderful doctor
Dr. Riggs is a wonderful doctor. She listens and explains everything well and is genuinely concern about my well-being. She delivered my baby and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor! I love her and sad to know that she will no longer be seeing patients. I don't think I have felt sadness about losing a doctor other than her. I wish more doctors are like her.

Disappointed
I was excited to see someone have so many great reviews moving to this area needing a new OBGYN. I was a new patient making an appt because I found out I was pregnant. Before my first appt I ended up bleeding a lot and when I called to figure out what to do and get in sooner, they couldn’t take me in. I’ve never experienced a miscarriage so this was very alarming. ER wouldn’t be able to help and they couldn’t at least give me information to help me through this time since they couldn’t see me any sooner and had to wait over 2 weeks heavily bleeding going through a hard time. Once I got in they overcharged me on copay. I took a urine test and she came into the room “well it’s negative”. It was extremely insensitive. Almost felt like they hadn’t believed me. They tried to get an annual pap in since they couldn’t make any money off me at the appt. Denied considering I was still heavily bleeding. I felt failed by this office and our healthcare system. I will never return to this office.

I had a great experience with Dr. Riggs with my pregnancy and delivery. HOWEVER I have asked 3 times for my IUD to be removed and have been refused. This final time I was not even allowed by the nurse to make an appointment to see the doctor. This has been highly upsetting, especially from a physician I had come to have a deep level of respect and trust from. I was forced to turn to Planned Parenthood for help for something that should always be my choice. I am never one to write reviews, but I felt that this was absolutely unacceptable.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Riggs. She's delivered both of my children and helped me through a miscarriage. She's caring and listens well. Anytime I've had need to go in that was urgent, I've been able to call and she and the staff at Mercy will find a way to fit me in on the same day.

During the birth of my daughter she was in the room with me constantly checking up during my contractions...she would sit by me and rub my back and comfort me the best she could. I have NEVER seen a doctor who has been so loving and truly cared. I struggle with anxiety and she answered every single single question I had without making me feel dumb. I later had a miscarriage with my 2nd and she was again VERY loving and nurturing throughout that whole journey. She sat on the hospital bed with me and rubbed my legs and held my hand during the hardest time in my life. I am now pregnant with my 3rd, but moved away but I travel the 45 minutes just to go see her. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies (or my vagina LOL) I couldn't praise Dr. Riggs more..

Overcharged me and said she would 1/2 the charges. Had to follow up several times to confirm this. It was confirmed by both the doctor and the receptionist. Never saw the charges change. Now I'm stuck with a bill for services that did not even work. I've been a patient for 7 years and did not like the way I was treated this year. Switching doctors to someone that actually cares about my welfare and not just money.

Throughout my entire twin pregnancy she was attentive, knowledgeable and cheerful very much like my own personal pregnancy cheerleader.We had an easy vaginal delivery with no meds and I came out with only one small stitch. The best part was we got to take the twins home with us right away, since they were both at a healthy weight. We were very blessed and Dr. Riggs was there with us throughout the entire experience and I could not thank her enough for her wonderful work!
