Terrible experience with the PA .she was abrupt, argumentative, very poor bedside manner, aggressive, and dismissive..

They say you cancel appointments but that is impossible given they charge you $75 per rescheduled appointments. They cancel with no notice but don’t give you a $75 credit.

The Staff/Assistants at your Sunbeam location are outstanding. Friendly and knowledable and eager to assist. The PA I had needs Patient Services training. Her name is Carmen. She Had little to say, aggressive and dismissive, and a overall a very unpleasant patient experience. I sent a review to the office and never heard a word.

The PA Carmen was very very rude and unprofessional when questioned about a procedure she was doing on me. She told me if I did not trust her that I could just see another medical person. She was just plain mean! Never will I return to the sunbeam road office.

I LOVE her! Already recommended her to so many people I may never get an appointment I wish I could show you before and after pics .. AMAZING!!!

“Nurse” didn’t know how to use equipment.

Had been going to Dr. Pentel's for almost a decade. High turnover of staff over the years. PA left me with a scar on my back from a simple mole removal that even with scar revision resembles a large gash as opposed to a simple scar. Can also see scar on my arm after staff left some stiches in my arm for months. They don't systematically contact you with biopsy results. Their policy is if you don't hear from them, don't worry about it. Last visit I had a spot biopsied and they never contacted me to let me know it was something that would immediately grow back. Even called to get actual biopsy result and staff couldn't be bothered with looking it up. Had to pay for another office visit to find out what it was and when asked why no one called me with the results, doctor blamed me for not making more of an effort to locate them myself. Avoid this place like the plague!

MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN A PATIENT OF DR PENTEL FOR MANY YEARS. HE HAD A 10:30 APPOINTMENT TODAY. AT APPROXIMATELY 10:40, I ASKED WHY HEHAD NOT BEEN CALLED BACK. I WAS ADVISED THAT THE DOCTOR WAS RUNNING LATE. WHEN I ASKED HOW LONG IT WOULD BE I WAS TOLD THE 9:30 PATIENT HAD JUST LEFT. MY HUSBAND HAS JUST RECENTLY BEEN RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL AND IS ON OXYGEN. HIS TANK WAS NOT GOING TO LAST MUCH LONGER SO I ASKED IF HE COULD BE SEEN. THE RECEPTIONIST CHECKED WITH THE DOCTOR AND WAS TOLD HE COULD NOT BE PUT IN FRONT OF ANYONE. SHE DID OFFER TO MAKE A NEW APPOINTMENT FOR FIRST THING IN THE MORNING (DAY NOT SPECIFIED). I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW ANY PHYSICIAN COULD NOT ADDRESS A PATIENT DEPENDENT ON OXEGEN AND ABOUT TO RUN OUT. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. MY HUSBAND IS 84 YEARS OLD.

Follow up after appointment is poor in regards to my prescription. Being a good doctor also requires good communication.

Nice, thorough and personal

I’ve been going to Dr. Pentel for over ten years. She discovered I had melanoma twice and removed it all. I now go annually to get my skin check and Dr. Pentel and her staff are always kind and professional. If you want a Dermatologist that knows what skin cancer looks like...she is your doctor. ??

I have been going to Dr. Pentel for over 20 years and think that her and her staff are great. I highly recommend her. She is very professional and has performed many Mohs surgery on me.

I have been a patient of Dr.Pentel's both in dermatology and cosmetics for 7 years.My husband & I have ongoing skin cancer issues and are always impressed with the level of education,skill,expertise and courtesy shown to us during our various treatment methods.Dr. Pentel sets the bar quite high for the entire staff and it is a pleasure to interact with all.The dermatology front desk staff work together seamlessly as a team..they are proficient in customer service as well as insurance acumen.

Always there when needed. Very accommodating and helpful.

I recommend this office to everyone I know. Have been to several other derm offices in Jax and Dr Pentel and Debbie her ARNP are very informative and take a lot of time with their patients.

It was my first time here and I like how I was taken care of. My Practitioner Julia answer all my questions concerning my issue and treated me with the upmost care. I can’t thank her enough.
