Bad experience and shady billing
0 stars. This woman was dismissive and rude. Looked like she was annoyed. Asked me a couple of generic things, looked at my chart, and dismissed or laughed at most of my questions ( i.e. I asked what could be the reason I've been gaining some weight, after being skinny my whole life, and she said "well, you are getting old and probably eating more than you should"). Such an unprofessional answer! Also, she only used her stethoscope to listen to my heart and lungs for a couple of seconds and didn't even checked my ears, mouth, nothing. And now I have a bill for my visit (when it should have been covered by insurance because it was my yearly checkup) stating she provided extra services. Lies! I'm disputing the bill; it's not the money but the principle. Ridiculous. If she is so bothered by her patients, maybe Dr. Mary McAfee should retire.

Dr McAfee took great care to understand my problems and to explain the causes and cures. She also made sure I understood the problems and the cure. I have recommended her previously and will continue to do so.

Dr. McAfee was absolutely wonderful! She sat and talked with me for an hour regarding my issues. She was very understanding and empathetic . She listened to my concerns and was so caring. I'm so thankful for her help.
