Stay far away from stanford for GI issues or mals

Stanford has to be one of the absolute most laces to for gi issues and mals. They just don’t do anything to help patients except say it’s in your mind. Mals is something you need surgery for and they don’t even want to do that. Just do celiac blocks for life is a bandaid not a fix. In my opinion this place is the definition of don’t care about their patients and only care about their checks being cashed. All you will be doing coming here is wasting lots of your valuable time while you’re suffering with your issues. Do your research and go somewhere that truly cares and has the actual knowledge. Sad that I taught hawn what and how mals works. She is completely wrong and needs to go back to school to learn more. No surgery for a ligament compressing an artery has to be the most selfish thing. Totally sounds like a scam for taking patients money. Do your research before you choose this place. Lots of doctors on their list have terrible rating and barely and success rates with their patien

Dr. Hawn offers LINX ®, a new laparoscopic procedure to treat GERD. This procedure involves a string of metal beads that are drawn together by a magnet. When this string is placed around the lower esophagus, the magnet pulls the beads together and closes off the esophagus from the stomach.

This dr was the rudest person . She was glad to take my blue cross n run lots of test but refused to do my surgery . She went into spefic detail what was wrong with me drew examples of my condition then , dismissed me like an animal apparently I was rich enough or important enough for her taste. I left her office in tears . Would never recommend her don't want another patient to b so dismissed n hurt as I was
