Always ready to help
I had no wait for my appointment. Dr. George listened to my concerns and suggested a plan to deal with my issue. Helpful office staff and nurses too.

Dr. George is one of the best doctors I have ever had. While I noticed only a couple of negative reviews they seem to deal with her shift to a concierge doctor not because of her care. I believe it’s important to consider the context. The current healthcare landscape, shaped by high medical school costs and insurance challenges, has made it increasingly difficult for dedicated physicians to provide the level of care they aspire to. I feel Dr. George is committed and goes above and beyond to insure that I receive personalized attention and thorough explanations of my health. What sets her apart is her genuine concern and how she spends so much time with you. If you are considering her as your doctor she is worth every penny. She truly cares about her patients and is dedicated to providing excellent care, even in a challenging medical environment. I left her office last week and said you are the very best and that she is. Excellent care and coordination of referrals.
Dr George listened to my list of symptoms, suggested blood work and perhaps a change in medication. She faxed my information to my endocrinologist to keep him in the loop. She is in touch with all of my doctors, some of which she referred me to. Great care. I feel confident that I am in good hands.

Dr. George listens.
Dr. George listens to you, answers your questions, and explains medical issues very well.I like that as soon as you walk in the door, you’re not leaving 20 minutes later. It is because she also ask questions, and really listens to what you’re saying.

I was totally satisfied with my visit .
I was surprised with the amount of time that Dr George spent with me. Most Dr’s rush from patient to patient and they don’t really listen. I was a little taken back by the amount of data that was presented from the blood test…so much data that you don’t know where to start.

Dr. George Barrington
Dr. George has been my and my wife's primary physician for about 5 years now. Appointments are easy to schedule, the wait time is very minimal, the staff has always been helpful and supportive. Her analytics and intuitive examinations have led to diagnoses that have been transformative and life saving. She strives to make life better for her patients and the staff supports that culture. She is a highly qualified diagnostician who delivers quality care and personal attention to her patients. She listens well and uses that information and her examinations and testing to form her conclusions and suggestion to help make life better for her patients.

I thought Dr George was great when I first went to her a couple years ago. I am 67 and on Medicare with supplement ins.(together is 300.00 mo) . Just a heads up people? I was dropped as a patient because I did not want to pay Dr George 1600.00 a year JUST TO HAVE HER AS MY DOCTOR . It is a disappointment that MONEY is the priority. I cannot recommend Dr. George unfortunately. She is not interested in Healthcare for ALL initiatives either. Too bad. I didn't even have any major health issues!

Dr. George recently changed her practice into a form of even more privatized medicine. Her new practice excludes many of her patients and now you can only be her patient if you have the money for it. I thought Dr. George cared about her patients but she prioritizes the money to be made off of them. Very disappointed.

Pros: Sweet, nice office, prompt appointments, quality resources. Cons: If you really pay attention, she listens to you but formed a diagnosis after your first sentence. If you are familiar with some illnesses and medical triage, you'll know she's asking limited questions and potentially overlooking others.

Dr. George is a wonderful doctor. She is compassionate and kind. She really takes time with her patients to listen to them and understand their needs. I have never felt that I was just a patient but that she truly cares and wants what is best for me. There are no hidden agendas or costs with Dr. George. She is transparent and a genuinely good person. I would highly recommend Dr. George to anyone seeking a great internist.

Cruel doctor. Has no sense of humbleness or generosity. Waited 40+ minutes almost every time Ive seen her just to spend 5 minutes with her and her telling me, "theres nothing I can do, but you can see my specialist" for simple things like diarrhea and back pain. She takes weeks sending my information to other doctors that usually by the time I make the appointment its not even there. She now does these "room charges" that my insurance doesnt cover. Shes extremely cruel to my entire family.

06/07/16 made an appt well in advance for 7pm, arrived early at 615p. Told by receptionist that Dr was running late, & I could run out and grab dinner. Receptionist calls me to say that Dr 's 630p no showed & to hurry back . Had to wolf down my dinner. Arrived back at 650p and by 717pm still not seen. Completely unacceptable. I get up for work at 345am quickly eat breakfast , get to the train, only 1/2 hr for lunch don't get home till after 6pm. Made to hurry back for no reason. Disrespectful.
