Dr. Mary Chu, MD

Had the unfortunate luck of having Dr. Mary Chu be my first-ever OBGYN appointment. Really freaked me out...stared at me with this odd look in her eye, like I was an alien specimen. Seemed indifferent to whether she was hurting me or otherwise making me uncomfortable. Had a weird "attitude" no matter how polite I tried to be, and seemed annoyed with me for being uncomfortable. She was so analytical and superior the whole time that it made me feel awful, like a cow being examined for transport.

Dr. Chu delivered my baby via c-section at 29+4. Honestly cannot thank her enough for the care leading up to delivery. She wasn't my primary, but due to complications I ended up at Morrison. She took every precaution and baby 18 more precious days in the womb. Also my scar looks SO much better than it did with my first. Only down side is the patient service from reception at her practice was very frustrating.

I gave birth to my son on 11/28/20. She was awful. She already decided how she would approach my delivery way before I got there. If I could have walked I would have left. She is rude. When she attempts to have bedside manor, it’s so fake and forced it’s laughable

She came into exam room and already made a decision to dismiss my concerns based on info she attained from a ten min conversation I had with the nurse. I have never been to a doctor where I have had to plead my case to justify my concern. Would not recommend.

Terrible bed side manner. Looked at me like I was stupid with every question that I asked. Will never return to or recommend her or the practice that she works at

Wanted to give me a C-SEction for a uterine Myoma AND offered MENOPAUSAL shots, completely clueless and doesn't want to hear out your concerns. No thanks!

I have had the pleasure of being one of Dr.Chu's patients for the past 6 years. Her capability of analyzing and assessing patients concerns and questions is remarkable. From women's healthcare, all the way up to obstetrics. As a patient she educated me every step of the way throughout my pregnancy and I'm so grateful to have her as my doctor.

She is a doctor that doesn't care if her patients wait an hour and 15 mins for her to show up. I had no confidence in her ability or knowledge. Her practice does have all board certified doctors and she seemed like a total space cadet when asked questions of basic delivery procedures. I will not be back and I'm hoping her examination did not cause me to miscarry. Very disappointed in my appointment today.

Understands what's need to be done as does it. Makes good split second decision
