Dr. Marvin Schlecte III, MD

This is in reference to Dr. Schlecte Sr. My fiancé had been to see others in this practice previously and had a good experience. However, she was constantly shifted to different providers in the practice, and unfortunately had the awful experience of being “treated” by Schlecte Sr. He was rude, did not collect a history of the issue from my fiancé, asserted a diagnosis that was unlikely given the circumstances, did not do any testing to confirm the diagnosis he assumed, and proceeded to prescribe medications without ever listening to my fiancé’s experience or answering her questions. His blatant incompetence in this situation has led to us seeking care elsewhere and we will actively dissuade anyone who asks from working with this sorry excuse for a physician.

This was the worst experience ever!I have had bi-lateral mastectomies with massive reconstruction that ultimately failed, 3 lumbar laminectomies, 1 lumbar fusion with CD rod placement, right and left total knee replacements, rt. total hip replacement, and those are only the major surgeries. I hurt my eye swatting at a gnat. He accused me of lying. My sight was NOT lost (as he insisted).I went the next day to an old, trusted eye MD in Austin. Dr.Schlecte is not a good MD, nor a nice guy. AWFUL!!
