Dr. Marvalyn Decambre, MD

This doctor was extremely rude, insensitive and rushed. I heard her cursing at her colleagues before and after the procedure. I would not recommend seeing this provider.

Dr. Decambre was very professional. She provided me with all the information I needed to know to improve my condition. I felt very comfortable during the physical exam. She was very patient and took lots of time to answer any questions. I highly recommend her services to women who need help with any bladder issues or development of stones. As a senior one of my goals is to age well and not wear diapers. Dr. Decambre provided me with the knowledge to help with this concern. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a female urologist. Dr. DeCambre has clear traces of racism. She usually controls it but sometimes it leaks out. Example: First time they gave me forms to fill, while I was filling, she asked in a rather aggressive tone: “Do you understand the questions you are answering?” She assumed I don’t understand English. Due to faults with the office procedures, she blames (and bullies) the patients. Example: The office assistant does not wear a mask, yet Dr. DeCambre blames new patients when they don’t wear a mask. (This happened during 2022.) Lastly: she recommended a treatment, once done, she said she cannot defend its necessity with insurance. Leaving the patient cut and dry. If the treatment was not necessary, she should not have recommended it the first place. Dr. Decambre might be a good doctor, but the behavior, with visible traces of bully, is not cool and makes the patient quite uncomfortable. I have decided not to continue with this physician.

Refused to give me results of CT scan, unless I came in for visit. She reluctantly did telehealth. The next day when urine & blood results came in again she refused to give me results unless I came in. She agreed to call but would not give me results. I said I'm 76 years old & going on vacation. Can you at least tell me I have nothing to worry about & can enjoy my summer? She said "you can enjoy your summer". She has refused to send results to my primary doctor as well. Disgraceful!
