Dr. Martin Strassnig, MD

Terrible experience. I had booked an initial appointment for 45 minutes, the video call didn't last longer than seven minutes. He wanted to prescribe medication after he asked me two questions and was visibly annoyed when I was asking questions about my current and future medical plan. When I was going to ask about a contradictory recommendation he gave me he said he was not the type of doctor to give explanations or answer questions. I left the video call enraged.

Dr. Strassnig really knows how the brain works which is important when providing psychiatric care. He finally helped me find out the best regimen for me.

I was a patient with Dr. Martin for a year. I was initially happy because it seemed like he really cared. I was a difficult case because most medications effective me badly - possibly to due my liver function. He got very frustrated that the five medications he tried didn't work and gave up, saying he'd have a peer review his assessment and I never heard from him again. It was really the last thing I expected from someone who's written lengthy academic papers exploring unknown areas of psychiatry. It's fair to say that inquisitiveness is over with this guy.
