The Best in the West
Dr. Ortega is one of the best physicians in West Texas. He has excellent bedside manners and is clear in his explanation to his patients. He is respected by his peers and easy to consult with. He has helped me on a number of occasions and he follows through wonderfully. As a department chair and pastor who has medical experience, I greatly appreciate the professionalism he brings to the profession. He is always willing to assist and although he is highly requested as a PCP, he is approachable, intelligent, and down-to-earth.

Cocky. Seems to care more about his reputation than the well being of his clients. I had a bad experience with him where he insisted on getting prior medical history from my previous doctor (which he got). He then informed it wasn't enough and refused to refill my prescriptions - All after i had to wait almost a month for him to return from vacation. He has a very condescending attitude and has no trust in what you have to say.
