Wonderful ophthalmologist
Our family’s ophthalmologist for about 30 years. Super with our children. Willing to refer to specialists if needed. Personally, I’d rather see a competent and kind doctor than an incompetent doctor with a nice staff.

My son’s last eye doctor and her staff were very unprofessional, so after several years of dealing with their behavior I decided to take my son to this location. I’m very disappointed to say the black woman at the front desk is extremely rude. When I called to make the appointment I explained that if I requested my son’s records from his previous doctor I would be charged a $25 fee, but if they requested it, it would be free. So I gave the person who scheduled my son’s appointment the telephone number of his doctor with the understanding that she was going to call and request the records in time for my son’s appointment. When we arrived today, no records. As I was talking to the black woman about this she turned her back on me and started speaking with her co-worker, completely ignoring me. Unacceptable! I won’t be back! Update :The doctor called us to the back, but didn’t wait on us, he just said, “Come to the second door on the right.” No friendly greeting at all. So, we go to the

I have been a patient of Dr. Kolsky's for the last three years. Dr. Kolsky and majority of his staff are great but his Office Manager CAROL is extremely unprofessional and rude . I have ask them to update my records several times, I havent received any bills and when i do call they say there isn't a balance yet EVERY NOVEMBER ( Last year and this year ) I receive a call about sending my bills to collection when its time for a follow up appointment . This morning I called to speak to CAROL and when asked about several discrepancies with my account and payments that have already been paid she started to lie and Hung up on me . Then when i called back she refused to answer. I AM EXTREMELY disappointed in this office due primarily to their office manager CAROL

The staff was great. Dr. Kolsky was through and spent all the time needed to determine my problem. He did order additional test which I am grateful for as he discovered I had mild macular degeneration beginning.

The office staff in Dr. Kolsky's office are efficient, courteous and friendly. I feel fortunate to have been sent to Dr. Kolsky. He was very thorough in his examination and discovered exactly what my problem was. He sent me to a doctor who specializes in my rare autoimmune disease and within a week I was responding to treatment. Dr. Kolsky was professional on the highest level, friendly and very kind. He explained my problem in terms I could understand in the most caring way. He's a prince!

Front Office was terrible to work with. Extremely rude and difficult in a time when specialized help was needed. Will not go back and encourage others to rethink seeing that office. Unprofessional

I have a genetic eye disorder. Dr. Kolsky and his staff are thorough in their analysis. In addition to testing visual acuity, they screen for color and peripheral acuity. This is a regular yearly routine.

Dr. Kolsky has been my ophthalmologist for almost 30 years! I trust him. Although his office can be quite busy, he has fit me in to his schedule (same day) when i have had an emergency eye condition. I have referred both family and friends and they have been quite satisfied. I highly recommend Dr. Kolsky.

My sister saw Dr Kolsky for vision loss in one eye. He was very rough and gruff and "couldn't delay his clinic" for questions. Contrary to what he states, he did not complete a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship. Instead, he orders every single known test to man hoping to find something possible. Dr Kolsky orders spinal taps, blood work, mris out the wazoo. He uses a "shotgun approach" he told us. Should be called a nuclear bomb. We got a second opinion and told the diagnosis after a quick exam.

I do not know what office this other person went to. I had the reverse experience. Dr. K and his staff took great care and went through a lot of work on me. They got me as far as possible without having to get outside tests. They followed up with me and have been a pure pleasure every step of the way. I unfortunately had a diagnosis outside of just optical causing the optical issue but continue to return for the optical nerve issue I am having
