We brought out mom into see Dr. Harris. She had an unexplained rash. Dr. Harris barely looked at her and said it was contact dermatitis. He prescribed prednisone which she had already been on. Around two weeks later when her rash still wasn't better, we took her back to him. Again, he barely glanced at her and said it was still contact dermatitis. My sister asked him to please do a scraping to see if he could see anything and he said he didn't need to. My mom lived in a nursing home, which are known to have things like scabies. My mom has since passed away but she lived with this until she passed. It progressively got worse and she suffered a lot until the end. Now seven of our family members have scabies. We went to a good dermatologist that diagnosed it right away. If Dr Harris would have done the scraping he would have prevented my mom's suffering at the end of her life. I would never recommend him to anyone. I wouldn't even give him 1 star.
