Dr Bartels is excellent! His initial exams are thorough and discussed at length. His office staff are helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. Its hard to believe, but I actually look forward to getting my shots!

His office does not reinforce their own notice to wear masks. I was there last week 9-14-20 and a woman and her 3 children were not wearing the masks that were below their chins. When I asked the front desk to enforce masking, they did nothing. ABSOLUTELY nothing was done about it.

He wouldn’t listen to the fact that I have allergies to gluten. Without saying it, he said it was not so. Then, shortly after I arrived home from only testing, I had a violent reaction. Could have died. I didn’t appreciate that he doesn’t disclose that he is only into natural medicine until he’s finished testing. He needs to tell a person before or put on his advertising. At least if you have a gluten problem don’t go see him.

I know that Dr. Bartel is just another allopathic doctor, but I was not impressed by his general tone. I went in for a fairly severe problem, and he talked to me like I was an errant child. No compassion whatsoever.

Dr. Bartels is a wonderful, caring doctor. He puts you at ease and is very thorough in his exams. He takes the time to prepare handwritten instructions for at-home care and discusses these in detail with you. I have been seeing him for about 4 years now for shots and exams as needed. I would (and have) recommended him highly to others.
